John and I met through some mutual friends in December 2007. He proposed a year later on Christmas Eve with a ring and a bottle of Champagne!! I said yes, of course!
We live in South Boston, MA. I am from just north of Boston and he is from County Carlow, Ireland. We both come from large families and as a result, we are in the process of planning our Big, fat, IRISH wedding!!

We bought our wedding bands today!!! This is the stock photo as I had to have the ring sized...it is a 5 diamond prong setting and it is just as sparkley as my engagement ring!! The other is John's stock photo as well...He picked one out similar to this but he wanted it a little wider...they are calling to see if it is avaliable...and it is!

I LOVE trying on wedding dresses!!!
I think I was driving everyone a little crazy but I did just buy my dress...I had tried on a bunch of Maggie's and was getting ready to leave the store. I saw one hanging that the store had just received. I said, I want to try THAT ONE! I did and I fell in love but I went to a few more stores but I kept going back to this one.
It is Maggie Sottero "Krystalyn" and should be in sometime in July. Can you tell I was excited!!
I went and tried on my dress with my veil and jewlery ~ I love the whole look!!

I LOVE the green ones but they really hurt my feet after a little bit so I might wear them for the ceremony and pictures and then switch to the others that are very comfy and cute...
My earrings that I got from Lord and Taylor ~ I snagged a deal as they were on sale for $34!
The postman arrived with my new bracelet today!! I love it!
I have ordered my purse and CAN NOT wait until it arrives! It matched my green shoes perfectly! I did not want a white one that I would use sparingly. I knew that I would use it plenty! I got my purse today!! I love it!
So I got my makeup done at the MAC store. They are not who I have booked for the wedding but after getting my makeup done there...I might change my mind...
Got my hair done that afternoon as well but I am thinking I am going to wear it up...

Cake Knife and toasting flutes
My Mom and Dad gave us our toasting flutes and our cake cutting knife for our engagement present. They are beautiful and I look forward to using them as often as possible after our wedding!
I want to take the "Thank You" picture so we can make cards when we get back from the honeymoon.
