This is our venue. It is a beautiful country club with a golf course. Our ceremony will take place on the veranda which is the third picture (the one at night). The reception location is the photo with the blue chair covers but ours are going to have white chair covers and sashes in dark purple (I think...I cannot remember what we chose right now), the room is pretty, it is long and our sweetheart table will be in the middle where the dance floor is, so I think pretty much everyone will be able to see. The other to photos are locations on the country club where pictures can be taken. I love the tree by the pond...we will defintely be going there for some pictures!

We have posted a lot of information on here for our guests to view about the wedding a other details. I am also glad people are enjoying this, it was something new for me to try and do. It was pretty easy since they give you categories but thinking of what to write in some of them was a little hard!

I love them! :)
I just made these up in powerpoint. I think that there will need to be a piece of cardstock behind it though, so it doesn't get bent and messed up in the mail
The save-the-dates were sent we have gotten a lot of compliments on them which makes me feel proud I have never really made anything before and I am glad people liked them!
I am glad we put out return address on them because several came back because we had been given the wrong address, I am glad we found out now and not when we sent out the wedding invites
I got this dress on sale at Forever 21. It is very cute and I think I will be wearing it to my shower July 19th. Just got these shoes on sale for $20 to wear with the dress and I would like to get my hair styled like the above picture (I am not good at doing my hair).
I found this dress last week, on sale for $39 originally $68! I am going to wear it to the rehearsal, with my hair like the pic
This is my dress, I love it! After taking three other trips shopping for dresses I finally tried on this one. It was completley opposite of what I was looking for that day. Although it has a few details that I wanted from the start. I wanted it to lace up in the back and have lace detailing, which my parents and grandma were not so fond of. But when I put this dress on it felt amazing, and my dad loved it! I tried on a few dresses after it and he kept saying that he liked this one the best, and so did I. I cannot wait for it to come in! I am glad that it is lace up also because it will cut down on alterations costs and also the lace at the bottom is detachable for easy access to hem it. It worked out perfectly that day, except for it being a little over $1,000 with taxes...I was shooting for $700 but it all worked out!
It finally arrived!! I picked it up just this weekend (April 5th). Here are a few pics!
It's a little big in the bust but that was expected :)
This how FI wants my hair (haha he said if I didn't wear it like this he would be sad...I think he just wants me to stop looking on PW all day!! I absolutely love the above hair piece made by FeathersandFrills on Etsy!
If possible I would like to change my hair to this style for the reception (not sure if I can make it happen though)
This is the dress my bridesmaids will be wearing, although they are in eggplant. Two of the bridesmaids will have jackets along with the dress (one due to religous beliefs, and one because it is more comfortable to due her size.) And my jr bridesmaid will have spagetti straps with the dress. They have all been ordered, and I am hoping everyone still fits into them when the wedding comes! Excuse my cousin's face in the picture...she didn't want her picture taken and she was up late the night before and we got there when they opened at 9:30 :)
This is the jewelry my girls will be wearing for the wedding!
We got to pick up the bridesmaids dresses as well this weekend. Here is a few pics of me with my older sister (MOH), she wasn't too excited about putting it on because she just had a baby at the end of January, but I still think she looks great in it :) Please ignore the weird look on my face lol
My two younger cousins tried on their dresses at Easter and I think they are going to look great. I was finally able to get a picture with a lot of natural light so you can see the color better. They need to be hemmed quite a bit, they are supposed to be knee length lol. They are getting so big it amazes me, I remember when they were babies and now they are 15 and 12
Ok...so far this is the plan...
<~~~~(Orignal Inspiration) My Bouquet- lavender
hydrangeas, lavender roses, deep purple mini calla lilles, green hypericum accents, and green dendrobium orchids.
I found this brooch in my jewelry box that I have had forever and I have never used. I think I am going to ask my florist to attach it to my bouquet
Bridesmaids(original)-lavender roses, green dendrobium orchids. Which will double as centerpieces during the reception
Matron of Honor- My older sister (who was with me at my inital meeting with my florist) I am going to have her bouquet be a step up from the other girls. I found a pin with her monogram on it that I am going to have attached like mine. I hope she likes it!
Corsages- white mini roses w/ a few greens
Boutonnieres- Groom-deep purple mini calla lilly
Groomsmen-green dendrobium orchids
Fathers and Grandfathers-two mini white roses
Ceremony Arrangements- 2 crystal vases of lavender roses paired with white large calla lilles, purple carnations, matsomoto asters, and some greens. Also will double as centerpieces at the reception
Centerpieces- Cube shaped vases overflowing with hydrangeas approx 5 in each
***However...I am thinking of changing things up** Although we would have to re work all the corsages and boutoniers
As far as centerpieces...I like these ones as well I am looking for something that gives me the pop of purple in a mostly white venue
I like this one, it looks like just roses to me and instead of the damask I think some purple fabric
around the vase would be great
And then something like this with hyacinth vine and matching fabric
ribbon to add some height
These except in purple and the branches in the same grayish color for bridesmaids
However I think I am changing my mind to this for my bouquet, if I these flowers are in season
during my wedding, with purple ribbon and the brooch
This is the inspiration for our cake, it is going to be three layers; (the top vanilla (to save for our anniversary), the middle chocolate, and the bottom vanilla) It will have lavendar icing with white piping without the monogram since we have one for the top already, the second picture is the inspiration for the cake stand the cake is going to be on, on monogram will be on top of course. The baker is going to buy fabric in eggplant to put underneath.
We are also going to have another table with cupcakes on it the flavors and red velvet-FI's favorite and Chocolate with Chocolate filling (I am a big chocolate fan!), layered on boxes covered with the same fabric as the cake table will be. They will have the lavendar icing and a monogram H piping in white.
Kristeen just posted about these and we are going to look into doing them as our favors now! They are so cute, we just have to think of a way to package them for the guests :)
our guest book :) We will have the guests sign it with sharpies, and have it displayed in our house since FI said it is broken and he doesn't want to get rid of it I thought this was an easy solution.

<---- This is also going to be displayed at the gift table as our card holder :) I was
inspired by the ones where I saw that had actual mailboxes with the name and everything, but since we do not know where we are living yet we figured this is something we will be able to use after the wedding to organize our mail
I want the table names to be displayed this way in the centerpiece so everyone can see them
clearly (that is something that always bothers me when I go to weddings, I can never see the table numbers and I walk around looking for the right one)
I spray painted these two H's and they are going to be hung at the start of the aisle (off the side of the chairs).
These will be sitting at the front of our sweetheart table
My neice's attire :) Although she will be too young to be our flower girl we still got her a cute dress to wear for the wedding because she will defintely be in the pictures! We are going to use extra material from alterations of the girls' dresses to re-do the sash/bow if possible. We just found these cute little shoes for her to wear they have hearts on the side and sort of look like converse (like I will be wearing for the reception).
First smile on camera
Shopping at Ikea with Mommy, Grandma and Grandpa, and Aunt-me :)
This is the hotel we will be staying at from Monday to Saturday. Right across the street from Waikiki beach. We are staying in the Diamond Head Suite. We are very excited for the trip!
This is the best picture I could get :) The necklace was my great grandmother's. My mom, Grandma and Sister all wore it for thier weddings. I got the earrings and braclet as college graduation gifts from my grandma and my aunt. I am very excited that I have all three pieces that match and I am thinking they will look good with my dress. At least I hope so!
We had our pictures in Hawaii by Renai Photography and Eddy was great here is the info to check them out!

Fi will be wearing black dress pants, a white dress shirt, and we are going to find him a tie as well.
