Inspiration:
I plan on DIY my save the dates and invitations
{The first two photos come from weddingbee.com (Mrs. Jellybeans & Mrs. Perfume) The 3rd is from embellishsp.com and the boarding pass is from the stylishscribe.com}
Save the Date:
I made them from a free STD template I got from ayleebits.com.. I printed them on Metallic Pearlescent Cardstock from Paper and More and mailed them in red envelopes I bought at Staples! I wanted something that said Hawaii but not necessarily beach because were not having a beach ceremony. I think the Hibiscus does that well. I downloaded the Hibiscus dingbat font from dafont.com. Everyone seems to like them!
(sorry the pic isn't that great)
Invitations:
Since I'm having a destination ceremony I really wanted to use a boarding pass as my invite! I used a template that I found on PW from married2mrw right's bio. My cardstock came form Paper and More. The boarding passes and response cards are in metallic pearlescent white and the invite holder is in metallic silver. I had to have them printed at Kinko's because the cardstock was to thick to go thru my home printer. My envelopes were purchased form Staples. It was a labor of love but I'm truly pleased with them!
