So this is about me.

So i work in advertising.  Which means, contrary to the show Mad Men, I work with 70-80% women.  Stylish, in-the-know, get-things-done types.  Plus, a bunch of them have gotten married recently.

So work is great for wedding and random fashion help (not that i can't dress myself).  Much to my wonderful fiance's dismay, she's engaged to a "Groomzilla" ever since saying yes to one silly little question.

TLC, call me, let's do a show.

The thing is, i spend every day surrounded by trends, color pallets, creative, and the latest in design.  I have something to offer.  Seriously!  And while she's entertaining a few of my thoughts, i'm mostly just being a pest.

Thats fair.  She is the bride!  Traditionally, i should give our wedding as much attention as it takes to decide on a type of meat, what liquor we'll serve, and when the bachelor party is.  Oh yeah, rehearsal dinner and honeymoon.  Check.

As style goes, I'm the one who cares more.  Not that Kelly isn't stylish.  She just ends up looking great.  I put too much thought into it.  I'm not wholly "metro".  I gave up on that years ago.  But i do try to dress well and think a lot about visual appeal (hence the wedding planning interest).

I'm totally willing to cut corners to make things more affordable.  We don't have a strict budget but we also don't want to put her 'rents in the poorhouse.  It's one night.  One great night.  But ONE night.  People can live an entire year on what we'll spend in 7 or 8 hours.  So the DIY section on here is pretty awesome.  I guess that's where i was going with that.

So anyway, it's probably silly that i'm on here but i've come incredibly comfortable with soliciting feedback from women who are not my bride-to-be.  So here i am.  Soliciting info.  And just maybe i'll have some advice of my own!
