I am a teacher, graduate student (still) and I work at my father's moving
and storage business on Staten Island. I am originally from Bensonhurst, Brooklyn.

Manny found me, former serial dater and ultimate bachlorette, on a dating site called Plenty of Fish. Manny's message on POF stood out and left me completely speechless. We exchanged AIM names, chatted and made plans to meet a few days later, Oct. 29, 2008.
We had 3 dates the first week we met. Something very rare for the both of us. I was intrigued by him.
From the very first e-mail on Plenty of Fish, Manny joked about eloping in Vegas.
We broke up a week before Christmas yet we spent Christmas Day and New Year's Eve together.
Then on Valentines Day when I had had just about enough of his shenanigans; Manny came through with too many sincere and meaningful grand romantic gestures to list here. The rest, as they say, is history.
