Two years ago, I ventured out on my own and started Moira Events & Design. People always ask me why I named the company Moira rather than using my own rather boring name. I respond with, "Wendy Moira Angela Darling, and because I never want to grown up." Most people dont get it - but those who do understand me and my company event better!
We do full service wedding planning and specialize in the little details and brining everyones personalities into the event. Following our wedding, kicking and screaming, I also started taking on custom stationery orders.
In August (happy birthday to me!) we launched Moira Design Studio, which is a full line of digital flat print invitations in a variety of design. When we were shopping around for invitations for our wedding, there just wasnt much out there in the $3-$5 price range that didnt make me want to gag. Poof! Design Studio was born. All the invitations on the site start at just over $3 and can be customized to your hearts content by us or through your own creative DIY ideas.
The site will (soon) also feature a full DIY line where you can purchase any of the designs and print them yourself.
We will be launching new designs each season and as trends rise and fall.

The invitations are gorgeous but Mrs. Beltran's business practices are questionable. Everything is wonderful until you get your product and attempt to contact Jessica with minor corrections in calligraphy and missing return addresses; then she is like a ghost! No attempt at a response to correct her mistakes or to continue providing excellent customer service after the product is delivered and payment is made. VERY disappointed in this vendor and her business practices. My beautiful wedding invitations are going out half completed and I paid $9.80 per invitation after all of the extras were said and done including the calligraphy. Again, beautiful product, bad business practices. |
