My fiance and I have been together for 3 years! We are planning a wedding for July 7th, 2012 in Storm Lake, Iowa. I am so excited for the time to come, I've been looking forward to it for way too long. Just wish it was already here. I'm having a blast planning :) I've got the church booked, reception site booked, photographer booked, and the DJ booked. Now I'm just waiting for this spring to start DIY stuff! :) I'm also having boudior pictures taken in November and can't wait! :) I'm on a budget, we are both full-time students and working full-time. So any advice on saving money would be amazing! As of now the most money is going to the photographer and catering since we have a BIG guest list (300):S...budget is $8,000 and $2,000 goes to photog and $3,000 to catering :S YIKES! Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated :)
Here are the colors we are using:
Red is the main color with black and simmery silver as the accent colors
These are our awesome engaement pictures! We had them taken back in August at King's Pointe Waterpark, where my fiance and I met for the first time! He was a lifeguard and I was a waterpark attendant. Fiance's friend is just starting up a photography business and gave us a great deal and took AMAZING pictures!!!
And here are the rest! :)
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the picture above ^ This is the same place he kneeled when he proposed to me! Made me tear up while taking the picture, which led to this picture under of the hug and his big smile :)
I am having 2 flower girls at my wedding because FI and I each have 1 nephew and we wanted them to both be ring bearers which means we get 2 wonderful flower girls as well. The girls are my cousins, Sami who will be 5 at the time and Remi who will be 23 months! :)

Remi:
This is the dress we are definitely getting for Remi! I <3 it! (in white)
For Sami these are the possibilities...I <3 the first one the most but not sure yet
Ever since he was born I knew my nephew would be the ring bearer in my wedding! No doubt about it...he is my little baby, I would adopt him if I could. And I'm a selfish aunt when he comes to visit! He is the cutest red headed little boy I know! He is a month younger than the flower girl Sami & they will be walking down together.
Syris & Aunt Faith [ME :) ]
I don't want him to grow up :( Can't believe he will be FIVE this summer :'(
About 2 years ago we found out FI's sister was pregnant...August 2010 she gave birth to a BEAUTIFUL little boy and well we couldn't leave this handsome little one out! He is 2 days older than Remi & they will walk down together (Will be 23 months day of wedding).
He's Aunt Faith's cuddle buddy when I visit
The chruch I'll be married in. My church is small and can't hold my 250-300 guest list so we went into town and rented this one :) I LOVE it and it's beautiful, my only concern is the green carpet with my red and black color theme :S
The reception will be held a Lake Ave Lounge in the old masonic lodge, it's beautiful up there and even has a little sitting area. There are two rooms, the bigger one we will eat in, and smaller one is where cake cutting, dance, and other things
will take place. There is a bar in a seperate room as well.
(Pics aren't the best, had to sneak around while taking them cause something was going on)

So, my colors are Red, Silver Sparkles, and Black. I've been looking for different centerpieces and here are some of the one's I've liked and we will probaly use. Do you guys have any opinions or other ideas? We have to have quite a few centerpieces w/ a guest list of 250-300. (found these pictures here or on the knot)
We will use this for the center of the round tables and center of the 8 foot tables: LOVE this! :)
One of the following will be used for the end of th 8 foot tables: (which one?)
I like these and may find somewhere to do something similar:
I haven't done any projects yet, but I wanted to make a list of things I'm going to do and as I do them I will add another page with completed DIY's and pictures! :)
The pictures on here are the inspiration I'm using ;)

So, I am SO happy to say that I will be a Maid of Honor in my Maid of Honor's wedding 2 months before mine!!! I asked her as soon as I got engaged to be my MOH, there was no question that she was going to be though. :P She accepted and said 'you know what this means don't you?.......Will you be my maid of honor?' we both knew we were kinda going to be each others MOH's but we had never asked each other til that point. My MOH is actually going to be renewing her vows with her husband. She is married to a Marine and he is actually depolyed right now and gets back in December. They wanted to get married before he left so they had a small courthouse wedding with his family in Wisconsin December 23rd, 2010. Now they are having a big Catholic wedding back home for her family and friends May 5th, 2012 which is two months before my July 7th wedding!!! I'm so excited to be part of this great day for them! :) Below are some pictures from their wedding this past December. She is SO beautiful!
