Hi Brides to Be!! For privacy reasons I have made some of my profile private. I am happy to connect and share my wedding ideas with fellow brides. If you are an active PW user, feel free to add me as a friend. Thanks and happy planning!
I want to always give credit where credit is due. If I am using any of your pictures please let me know so I can site you as the source. Also, if you use any of mine, please make sure to site them as mine. Thanks!
We decided on a black and white wedding with accents of fuschia, silver and Damask print. Below are some of the inspiration pictures that I have. If any of the pictures belong to you, or you know whose they are, please let me know. I want to make sure I give credit where it's due!
The bridesmaids will be wearing tea length black strech satin Calvin Klein dresses with matching Nine West shoes. I purchased their clutches from Target. They were on sale for $5.94. What a steal!
I've always wanted to wear some shoes that have some "pop" and some "bling" so I have decided on two different shoes! Some brides change their dresses... I'm going to change my shoes! I'm excited about getting some cute shoe shots with both pairs! Here's the first pair... still deciding on the second!
My niece is going to look adorable in this stunning Mori Lee dress. Totally matches with our wedding theme and colors. I'm thrilled with this find. I will say though, we found it online for $60 less then the bridal store was selling it for. Of course, the bridal store didn't tell me the brand name or style, but I was able to find it after hours of google searches.

I bought the same fabric as the pillow above and my mom covered a plain white flower girl basket that I got at Michael's on sale for $3.99

Ceremony
We were married at the historic Pasadena City Hall in Pasadena, CA. I got ready across the street at the Westin Hotel in the Presidential Suite. It had a gorgeous balcony which over looked the City Hall and that is where we had our first reveal.
Reception
Our colors were pink, black, and damask. Our centerpieces alternated tall and low. It's hard to see from the picture, but the large flower arrangements had battery operated lights in the vase and the twigs at the top had lights on them too. There was pin spot lighting on all the arrangements.
Cake
This was my dream wedding cake vision come to life. I drew this cake and my wonderful caterer, Castle Catering took my rendering and brought it to life. I love the alternating round and square layers. The black is satin ribbon with rhinestone ribbon and appliques. The cake stand is clear plexi-glass sitting on glass vases with battery operated light.
