First off, I'd like to update this page with my new happy announcement! I gladly accepted the offer to join the Project Wedding Hostess Team in January 2012. I am so honored to be a part of it, and I am here to help in any way I can! So now I will happily share my pink heart ♥
Hey, PW! My name is Faith, and I am planning a July wedding!!! I am keeping most of my bio private so that anyone who might be a guest at our wedding doesn't spoil all the fun! So add me to your friends and you'll get to see all my ideas and all our DIY stuff!

This part was so special to me. It was important to me that my mom got the honors of putting on my veil, since it was her veil. We spent a lot of time redoing her almost 30-year-old veil to make it absolutely perfect. And it was. It was my absolute favorite part of the wedding :)

Aaah, I must say I am SOOOOOO excited to share these... they came amazing and I am so incredibly glad we did this. We went back and forth, and ultimately decided just to do it.. you only get married once, right?!
While I love our actual wedding day photos, I wasn't blown away with them... but I am blown away by these.

We had an amazing honeymoon! We stayed at the same resort we went to the summer before, and we were able to stay for 12 days. It was 12 days in paradise, that's for sure. After the craziness of the wedding, it felt sooo good to just relax. We really didn't do too much. We parasailed and went to a club and also got massages next to the beach, and we got to release 3 baby turtles... a very relaxing 12 days!! I cannot say enough how amazing it was... Aaah, I wish we were back there!!
I wanted to share a very special veil with you guys... this is my mom's veil, which we redid together. Next time I go home I will look for her wedding pictures, because I forgot to take a before picture =( It had one of those big lacy headpieces and a blusher on it, but we removed both of those and cut about 8 inches of length off of the lace veil that we redid. My mom then sewed it onto a comb and barette and we added tons of swarovski gems and beads to give it lots of sparkle. I am sooo incredibly happy with how this came out. I always loved cathedral veils, but the second I saw my mom's veil, I knew I wanted to use it. It was just so beautiful and romantic and classic that I knew it was perfect. My mom really did an incredible job, and I am so glad we got to do this project together and that she let me cut apart and use this for my own day. It truly is going to be one of my most favorite and special things for my wedding day. I have the best mom ever♥
EDIT:
We redid the veil again.. the actual comb piece was a little crooked and it just didn't have the sparkle that this gorgeous veil deserved, so we took that part of it apart and gave it a new comb piece, and added a few more beads too :)

Hi, girls! Here are the all of the signs that my fiance & I did for the wedding. He cut them all and sanded them on the corners to give them that aged look, and I painted and vinyl'd them! I also added gems to a bunch of them, just to give them that extra sparkle that I love :) I'm so glad these are done.. it took up a lot of space on my DIY list, so that crossed out a lot! Hope you like them!

Here's my DIY aisle runner. Unfortunately, I screwed it up the first time... My mom and I were about 4 inches away from finishing the K and she asked me to hand her something and when I turned back towards the runner, I dropped my paint brush and it splattered allllll over the place!!! I was so mad at myself lol. But oh well..we cut off that first 8 feet or so and started over again, and this time I didn't screw it up! You can't tell, but I sprayed it with spray glue and dusted white and gold glitter all over the painted section, just to give it something extra. I also put sets of 3 gems all around the K, names and dates! I like the way it came!! The gold will go a little better in the church (which is done in browns and tans and golds) than our purple, teal, and aqua color scheme, I thought! Hope you guys like it =)
Table Numbers -- each one is a different photo taken on beach vacations by us over the years, with the exception of two engagement pictures we used from our photog :)

Bouquet gems.. these can be seen in action in my DIY flower post. I think they came great at a fraction of the cost.. online these things are lik $30 for six. I think I paid about $6 for 15 lol, and I can't imagine there being a big difference from the ones you buy!

My mom did the pillow... I love how she embroidered a K on it... it came so cute!
Our unity candle -- it will either have water in it or sand and a floating candle.. probably water, though!
And here are the pew decorations! We decided to go with starfish instead of flowers to save on costs a little bit! I think they came cute!
Not sure yet if I'm going to use these at the wedding.. maybe on the trolley during transportation, but I'm definitely going to get tons of use out of them either way :)

Whew, I feel like I have a whole lot to add here! I wish I had a list so I could remember to post everything!!
Don't know when I'll use this lol.. It was just for fun to test the glitter out, and I did use it at my bridal shower!

I did fix these to make the photos all the same size and make them nice and even, but I forgot to take a picture before I wrapped them up and packed them!

Our blinged up monogram that will go on the dance floor.. thanks sooo much again to Halsey, ridegrl1, for creating a gorgeous monogram... it's going to sparkle and shine while we dance the night away :)
*The blue backgrounds won't be there, just the white writing for both of these.. that's just because the backs of the words are sticky, so it needs to be on something until it's transferred to the floor/car!
And, finally, a gift for my parents.. it's going to have a photo from my wedding and a photo from my brother's wedding someday when he gets married. The lace is actually my mom's dress.. I am going to love seeing their reaction to seeing it at the RD♥
I wish the photo was better of the frame.. it really came gorgeous, with gold glitter cardstock and the pretty white lace!!
I love these two projects.. they just feel so intimate and so us, and I just feel like the love radiates from both!! So, without further ado, here they are!!

I love how they represent so much of us, so that really makes me smile. My fiance loves to do woodworking and carving, so the paper is made of wood!!! I'm so glad that I get to send something out that represents both of us, because I think the groom usually gets left out of most of the planning process! I love that our StD's are different that the typical ones you see. They're just so us... can you tell I'm excited?! Hehe.. ok, here they are:
