Reception:
Hi, I'm Christy and my DH is Ben.
We met in our senior year of college. After graduation we moved from Nevada to Oklahoma for Ben to go to law school and I applied and was accepted to nursing school, so we lived in OK going to school for 3 years. During that time we got engaged (Nov 2008) and married (July 11, 2009). We both graduated in May 2011 and have since moved back home to Nevada. I am now a trauma ICU nurse and love my job! We are also expecting our first baby!!!
DRESS:
I absolutely LOVE my dress! It's called Emme by Maggie Sottero and the color is diamond white. Can't wait for her to come in!!
Trying the store sample on:
May 28- YAY!!! She's here!

HAIR JEWELRY:
This headband is my favorite thing I have bought for my wedding (yes, even more than my dress I think!). It is by Bel Aire Bridal and is covered in Swarovski crystals. It is so sparkly in person!! (Pic is not working.. will add later)
OTHER JEWELRY: By Carolee
I have 1 maid of honor and 4 bridesmaids. We searched and searched for pretty bridesmaid dresses a few weeks ago and could not find anything! Then, at the very last store we went to, we found this beautiful Melissa Sweet dress! It is so, so perfect and summery in person. I wish I was buying one for myself!! My maid of honor's dress will be white on top like this one with a light pink skirt, and the other girls will have solid light pink dresses. LOVE them! (We will not have the flower on them)
We are getting married at The Resort at Red Hawk. The ceremony will be on the 18th green and the reception
will be under a huge gazebo-type structure that will have paper lanterns and white lights hanging above our heads.
Flower Girl Baskets
We have 3 flower girls. They are all my fiance's nieces (my future nieces!!). They are 6, 6, and 3 and super cute!! Here are their baskets I made. I am also putting in some satin material at the bottom of each basket to take up some room so I don't need to fill them up with a ton of petals. I found these baskets for $7.99 at Michaels and added some ribbons and a flower. I also put a big sparkly button in the center of each flower since I love bling! haha
Table Numbers
I made these by printing out the table # on cardstock then gluing it to a piece of green scrapbooking paper, then gluing both of those to some light pink damask scrap booking paper that I bought online. I found the frames at the Dollar Tree and the easals at Hobby Lobby.
Favor Boxes
These will be sitting on everyone's plate at the reception. I made 150 of them! The circle table linens at the reception are white with a sage green square laid on top, so I think the pink ribbons on the box will look really pretty against it. I bought the boxes in kits from Michaels, then added my own pink ribbon. We printed an N on the favor tabs and stuck them on!
Oh... and our favors are golf balls that I had designed online and shipped to me. They are soo cute and will be great since our wedding is at a golf course!

Hair Trial
My hair is just a little past my shoulders and I have always wanted long, curly princess hair for my wedding so I bought clip-in human hair extensions from Sally Beauty Supply and had my hair stylist put them in. It was pretty, but I think I am going to cut about 2-3 inches off because it was realllly long. Also, the updo will be more intricate on my actual wedding day, with different pieces of hair crossing over. It will also be a lot fuller in the back (didn't want to over saturate the extensions with product)! I Love my headband. It is from Bel Aire Bridal and has Swarovski crystals all over.
I ordered my invitations from www.keepsakedesigns.net They were really great to work with AND very affordable. They were extremely fast at designing me proofs of exactly what I wanted. I can't wait to see them in person!

Got my invites today! LOVE them!!! :)
My colors are light pink, sage green, and white. The bridesmaids dresses are light pink and the groomsmen are wearing sage green ties.
Our reception is outside so I bought 100 light pink and white lanterns in 2 sizes that will be strung from wires. Little white lights will also be strung over head.
I booked JJ Christy of No Bull Media as our DJ! I am so excited as I have heard nothing but great things about him from other brides.
For the ceremony I booked Beverly (listen at www.harpandvibes.com). She is so sweet and can play anything! Her music is beautiful and I can't wait to walk down the aisle to her playing.
