I would have never thought of myself as someone who gets married on a yacht. I'm not someone who loves boats but I have always imagined a wedding on the beach. But everywhere I looked was either too expensive or just not practical. Beach wedding are just nice in theory but in reality very messy. My maid of honor e-mailed me a link to Adventures at Sea and when I told my parents about it they got really exited. Everyone agreed and we all went to see the Yacht. We booked it right away. The boat provides me the beautiful wedding and view I always dreamed of without the discomforts of the real out door beach wedding.
Our wedding is on their biggest yacht Endless Dreams which hold close to 500 people. Our wedding will be about 200 so we have lots of options. I loved the set up. There are 3 levels to the yacht. On the top is where we will have our ceremony. The middle level is where guests will enjoy their cocktail hour while I'm on the upper level taking our pictures. Then everyone will go down to the lower deck for diner and toasts. Then back to the middle level for cake and dancing. Isn't that just so organized. I love not having to worry about all of this. This flow is just perfect
I put it on and I just knew this was "the one". Its simple, elegant, and romantic. I can't wait fo rit to come it!!!
FI designed it and had it made. Even the diamond was custom cut and imported from Europe. Its a cross between a cussion and a princess cut! Which makes it so beautifula nd unique. He did a great job! I love my ring!
I love my shoes! Peter Fox- makes the best shoes all made in Italy and so comfortable. I'm really petit and I needed a big heel but we have been takign dance lessons and I am exited to dance with my new husband, my dad, my grandpa, all night long! So it was important to have something not only stylish for pictures but also very comfortable. Peter Fox makes shoes for dancers so I know I will be comfortable and not fall on my face during our dance. My only delema now is do I die them now (turquoise) or after the wedding some other color. Hummm...Still thinking
The Dress!
My MIL to be bought me some beautiful jewelry that will go perfect with this dress. This dress I bought a while ago and never wore it and I think this will the perfect occation to wear it. Its much prettier in person.
The Restaurant
We are havign it at The Cannery in Newport. I'm so exited this place is onl 3 minutes away from the rehearsal on the yacht and its beautiful. I'm really exited!
The Food
We are having our Rehearsal Diner at Lunch - haha
I wanted to keep it light just tapas, some wine, and desert! Don't want to over feed my guests the night before the big day!
The dresses are being custom made by Love Boat. This is the closest dress I could find to the ones I'm having made. All turquoise dress. Balloon bottom with a bow in the back. No rousing though on the top. Just plain with a sweetheart top.
This guy looks like a dork but the is the closet thing out there to what our boys will be wearing. More on the turquoise side -of curse.
The stems have rhyme stones. I love how elegant these look.
Finally I found one that's sweet and simple and my something blue!!! YAY!
I decided to go with different shades of turquoises, with white and small amounts of black as an accent. And bright summer oranges, yellows and pinks for the flowers to compliment the blues :)

This will be nice and bright as a compliment to the bright turquoises.
MY FI loved this idea. We are getting them watches with their initials engraved into it. We are also giving them cigars and a nice silver pen (they are all designers) So this will work out nicely!!
I am getting the girls flipflops for if their feet et tired from wearing heals at the wedding they can change into them. Robes to get ready in, jewelry for the wedding, and picture frames with a picture of my and that particular BM. I'm also getting them a gift certificat to get a mani and pedi the day before the wedding :)
I got a plush backpack with a teadybear similar to this one for my FG's. It will be the perfect gift to add to the jewelry I'm making them.
The Ceremony
This was very important to us because we are not religious but my family is Jewish and his family is not. So we wanted this to be about us and our beliefs and we are very much about my family and friends and so we wanted a fun ceremony. So we are doing both a wine and chocolate and a unity sand ceremony. The wine and cocolate will be the body of the ceremony and we'll wend with the unity at which point we will invite our parents to join us with their wishes.
It will start out like this:
Who gives this woman to be married to this man? INTRODUCTION:
Friends and family of Dina XXXX and Nik XXXX, welcome and thank you for being here on this important day.
Each of you are here today because you bring something special to the lives of Dina and Nik. Some of you have known one or both of them for years - and some of you are meeting one of them for the very first time today. But whether you're an old friend or a newly acquired relation, you have a special place in their hearts. Likewise, you have a special purpose. As beloved family and friends, each of you has played some part in bringing them to this moment and in various ways will continue to support and contribute to their relationship. It is you with whom they'll share their happiness. You will watch their marriage mature; you will watch their children grow. And when hard times come, and the loving support of friends and family is needed, DIna and Nik hope to be able to turn to you, just as they will turn to each other.
Wine and Chocolate Ceremony
MAIN BODY:
There will come in your life days of great sweetness, and days of bitter sorrow. There will be celebrations, and there will be tears. There will be triumphs, and there will be tragedies. Life holds indescribable happiness in store for you both - and unavoidable pain, as well. And so to symbolize your acceptance of this reality, today you will share the bitter and the sweet, just as you will share them in the years to come. Both of you, take and eat this bitter, dark chocolate. Taste in it the dark days which will rock your marriage and test its strength. It represents disappointment, illness, and grief. Know that these hard times will come, and with them, the opportunity to deepen your bond as husband and wife.
Now, take and drink this sweet red wine.
Taste in it the sweetness and light that will fill your marriage with joy. Savor the fruits of this wine, just as you will savor every happiness that your beloved brings you. It represents shared laughter, your child's first steps, your golden anniversary. Delight in it, as you will delight in your husband, your wife.
Today Dina and Nik proclaim their love and commitment to their family and friends, and we gather here to rejoice, with and for them, in the new life they now undertake together as one.
VOWS: The vows you are about to exchange are a verbal representation of your pledge to each other.

Sand Ceremony
Follows the Vows we will exchange.
Dina and Nik, you have just committed yourselves to one another through sacred vows. Your lives are no longer two, but one. To symbolize this joining, we ask that you each pour some sand into this bottle. (Each scoops some sand from the beach and pours it into the bottle. )” Dina and Nik as you pour your sand into the one container, please repeat after me: “As these grains of sand merge together as one, I merge my life with yours. Please take my love throughout the sands of time. My heart is forever in your keeping. Dina and Nik as these grains of sand are joined together, so are your hearts, your bodies and your souls in marriage. Would the parents of the bride and groom please join us for the sand ceremony and pour some sand into this glass container along with your good wishes? That would mean so much to Dina and Nik (Parents then hug each other)

Ceremony
Prelude- Heart and Soul
Prelude music is played prior to the ceremony as guests are being seated. These songs will set the tone for your ceremony, therefore classical or jazz music is commonly played. Depending on your timeline, you will typically choose 5-6 songs to be played at this time.
Processional-
The Processional begins as the immediate family members are ready to be seated. Depending on your ceremony dynamics, you will choose a new song as your bridal party walks down the aisle.
Bride Enterance-Here Comes The Bride
Interlude-Wedding Waltz (Bridal Walts) – by Niels W. Gade
Interlude songs are often used during the ceremony to signify a special moment for the couple. This would be a perfect type of song to play during the lighting of a unity candle.- Sand Ceremony-
Recessional- I Feel Good!-James Brown
Congratulations, you’re married! The recessional song celebrates your new commitment and is played as you walk up the aisle together.
Postlude- This crazy little thing called love
The Postlude plays at the conclusion of the ceremony, after the recessional. As your guests exit, the postlude music should keep with the upbeat mood.
