Hello everyone, I finally got around to updating my profile!! I am originally from Trinidad and Tobago and my fiance is from Jamaica!! We met in a differential equations class in college........ and well you do the maths!! My wedding date is fast approaching and I cant wait to marry my best friend!! I think i have everything in order but you know how that goes, I always find something to change or to add, so I'm trying to use a checklist and stick to my budget!

So i went to the bridal store with all intentions of falling in love with the enzoani Diana after seeing a pic of it. When I tried on the Diana, however, it just didnt have the WOW factor I was expecting. I then tried on the Dakota reluctantly and didnt want to take it off! I knew it was the one. I bought the ivory sash as well.

I am frantically looking for this Herve Leger dress Rihanna wore to the BET awards in 2007. I cant find it anywhere and may have to have it sewn somewhere.

Reception Party Dress!! I love this!! I am looking for a way to spruce it up a little, maybe a beaded trim below the bust or along the straps at the back....or....I may cut off the flower from the ivory Enzoani Dakota belt I have and pin it below the right bust!

When I put this one on, I know that it's the one (or two!) lol. It fits me like a glove!! I bought this shoe a long time ago and I randomly put it on when i was trying on the dress! OMG!.........

After my fiance and i decided on the color scheme, I kept my eyes peeled for yellow cocktail dresses for my BMs. I knew that I wanted practical dresses that they could use after the wedding so I looked in dept stores like Macy's, Bloomingdales etc. Alas, i found these on Nordstrom's website

I was going to buy ready-made invitations but after seeing Ghana_bride's bio, I decided to DIY. After buying the pocketfolds and paper etc,they were just soo pretty that I didnt want to mess up.......so there's where Jujubee came in. She printed, cut and stamped everything and honey and I stuck the main invi into the pocket fold and added the extra bling.

i really really like this one, this might be it! I will show off my gorg earrings and I may still be able to clip the hair flower more to the back. NO VEIL!!

I dont want a very fancy shoe since the dress is pretty show-y on its own. Here's what i found:

I also am gonna get this sash (this is not the exact one, but close enough) and brooch to wear during the ceremony.

The brooch matches my earrings and bracelet :D

I plan to tie the bow at the back to the side but we'll see how that turns out!

I hope that the sash and shoes are the same color!!

We didnt want the usual coaster etc so we decided to give our guests "A few of our favorite things". Here they are:

Each couple will get 1 bottle of baileys, 1 lotion and 2 ferrero rocher's. I am still looking for a nice way to package them but the tag will read "Thank you for sharing our special day with us, as we share a few of our favorite things with you"
