Hello Brides and brides-to-be,
My fiance asked me to marry him on Valentine's Day of this year. He pulled out all the stops---hotel on Sunset Blvd, fresh seafood platter, champagne, chocolate covered strawberries, view of the city....ahhhhh....what a day! It has been wonderful since then too. We have become a great team in the wedding planning process and have surprisingly grown closer despite some hiccups in the coordinating process. I found this wonderful site on a search engine and I find the PW community to be incredibly helpful and truly invested in helping their fellow ladies. I will begin updating my page with details soon!
Nice to meet you all and congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!
(No pink or purple though. The base of the manzanita will be pine cones, twigs, ivory hydrangeas, antique green hydrangeas, coffee beans, rust/ivory roses and baby's breath).
I was so lucky to find this dress. "Casablanca", heavy Italian silk with embroidery and rhinestone details. 75%off---> $250. WooHoo!

Such a sweetheart. We make a great team and he has made this planning process so much more fun. I'm very lucky.
Well, the inspiration anyway. My beautiful pugs! I would like to get a customized cake topper designed to look like them.
I am still completely unsure of how I will end up wearing my hair. However (all for different reasons) I am very inspired by these.
Ideally, I would like to have makeup that pops without being too colorful. I also like a bit of a sultry/smokey eye, but I don't think I want the charcoal look.
Ok...this is a really tough one for me. I'm a southern California gal---I'd walk barefoot if it were safe and hygienic. Shoes tend to not fit me properly. You will usually see me in flip flops. HOWEVER, I can appreciate a gorgeous pair of heels. My ceremony is REALLY long and I worry about my level of comfort. But, if I knew it would be cool, I love these:
