I'm a single mom of a 6 year old boy. About two years ago I reconnected with an old elementary school friend. We were sweethearts in the 2nd graded when I promised him we would marry someday. 22 years later and we're getting married, a first for both of us. I'm not a graceful bride-to-be. I'm kinda going in kicking and screaming. Don't get me wrong, I can't wait to be married to him. He's my best friend and we make a great team. I'm just reluctant to spend a lot of time and money on one day.
