We took engagement photos on my college campus. It was about -12 that day and the shoot lasted for like 10 minutes lol. We were inside giant bird's nest sculptures. Our photographer was Lauren Herrmann out of Chicago.

My wedding gown was made by a friend. My favorite color is baby blue and I have never pictured myself in a white wedding gown. I was so excited when she finally got it done, i wish that i could wear it every day.

Q is a no fuss kind of a guy. When it came down to it, i couldn't get him into a suit but I did manage to get him into a tie. He looked very handsome.

Our rings fit our personalities perfectly. We didn't have a lot of money, but I just love what we finally chose. When we picked them out it was one of the proudest moments of my life. Under the rings is the dress.

My mama was the only person on my side that made it to the wedding. I'm from North Carolina and it barely even snows there lol. I think that the winter weather scared them into staying home.

Inside the venue before we started to set up. It was so nice and warm and cozy in there!

Our friends and people I didn't even know just walked in and started preparing the food. I almost cried because they just wanted us to not have to worry about anything!

I am a cake decorator so I made my own cake. No i didn't have time to bake it or make my own icing. I'm not Betty Crocker lol. Besides it would have taken away from my beautifying time.

We had baby blue spider mums with silver baby's breath. I thought it was a beautiful, ethereal and wintry combination! My florist was awesome.
