Me and my honey...where to begin? I officially met Chris on September 11, 2009 at a wedding that we both happened to be singing at. It started with small talk and we ended up laughing and talking during the whole wedding (we were in the balcony so no guests were disturbed lol!). We kicked it at the reception and had this amazing crazy cool connection. I don't necessarily believe in love at first sight, but there was no denying the connection! From there we had a few facebook chats which evolved to text messaging which evolved to talking on the phone. We never had a dull conversation, EVER. We would talk into the wee hours of the morning (we still do) and whenever we were together we would have a great time.

Now let him tell it, I was trippin' for 2 whole years. Even though we had this crazy connection, I was dodging ALL of his advances. I cant even lie, I was just a hair. It had been a while since I had been in a relationship, so I wanted to be sure. I did ALOT of praying (2 years worth lol), because I wanted the next relationship that I was going to be in to be right for me. Its funny how we pray and pray and pray for something but when God gives it to us we act like we dont know what it is!! And even though I may not have been taking Chris' bait lol, I KNEW all along he was THE ONE. IT was a feeling that I just couldnt shake. So in March of this year, I decided to let go of all of my doubts and fears, and receive what I had been praying for!!

I feel so blessed to have him in my life. We compliment each other so well and words cannot express how much I LOVE ME SOME HIM.
