Love is in the air... lalalalla...

Our proposal was special because I knew about the ring before.

He had asked me to get a few days free in order to go to Paris. 

He had always told me that He would bring me to Paris and that I should chose my engagement ring there. He knew how much I was dreaming of finding the right man and getting a ring one day as unique as this man.

Well, I was delighted when He told me that he was ready to bring me to Paris... I knew what we were supposed to do there.

But I also knew I would never get free days. So I got really sad because it seemed : no holiday, no Paris, no ring, no engagement... at least not yet.

Out of this frustration I started browsing the internet and what I found is the lovely ring You see above.

I told Alex that this was the exactly the ring I always dreamt of. I did not even know if it was for sale.

So then he decided  and told me if this was the ring I loved, we would get it.

When it finally arrived we were both so excited we had wobbly knees. I assure You it is far more beautiful than on the picture.

When he asked me on the evening of March 30th, he handed me a letter with all the reasons why he wants to marry me.

The amazing thing was that I had prepared a letter too, writing all reasons why I would have told him YES....and it sounded perfectly like the answer to his letter. We keep this commitment treasure always with us.

Since then I feel people can see how we shine with happiness.

There is a sad update about my lovely ring. It got stolen and we could not get it back. I really want my ring back. So, well, I was looking for a new ring. And here is my new beauty

I was born in the city center next to (100m distance) to a beautiful castle.

When  I was four years old my Grandma brought me there to show me the castle and since she had told me that

the princesses once danced there, Naturally I dreamt to do that too. I brought my ballett slippers with me and when we were there I gave my sweetest smile to an oldish guardian who allowed me after much begging to put on my ballett slippers and dance in the big hall all alone for 5 minutes while he and my Grandma waited at the entrance.I was enchanted.When Alex asked me to marry him and I started checking on possible places for the ceremony, I got out that in this very castle is a section where you can get married. I cried my eyes off.This way my Grandma will be even closer in my heart this day...

This is the most beautiful hotel I could find. I have no idea how much a wedding diner

for  15 people will cost there... but for now I am dreaming and hope it will be possible

This may seem a strange choice, but many years ago with friends  we made a game developed by a psychotherapist. We had to chose an naimal we identified with. I then chose the sawn, regal, solemn, lonely. For the day of my wedding , loneliness will no more be part of it, so this is why the lonely swan must die symbolicly, later on there will be a happy dance when the couple finds each other :-)))

this will be too expensive I guess but I would dream of renting such a car for our big day

That little hidden passion of mine.... my grandma , just as many at the time, wore her lily of the valley wedding bouquet. I loved them since I was little and I think they should appear in my wedding. Actually since the castle is just five minutes on foot from my parents house I thought of doing the photos in the park behind the castle because it is just amazing and one of my most hearted places in Berlin. Then I wanted us to go home and have the refreshment there. I thought it would be nice to have the cake by then. We will have breakfast in the morning and then we will have the ceremony around 14.00o' clock. I think so around 15.30 we could have the refreshment with champagne and the cake and then in the evening do the dinner. I have thought of a few places but have not decided for the hotel where to have the dinner yet. I want sth really chic. After all I wanted a black tie wedding.

So here are my inspirations for the tea table we will have at home. Luckily mum and dad love eating ,so their table is big enough for 20 people and also very beautiful. pics of that will follow...

My dear Friends,

most of You know, but I realized I have never really written an update here. The wedding  is off since one and a half years. I felt so down in the first run. And I was not around here very often. I felt so misplaced. I had even another profile here, just to be able to take part in the discussions with You beautiful ladies. I missed these forums a lot and got back here now again as an active member. I am thankful for all the sweet support I found here and the friends I made.
