The Inspiration:



I fell in love with this cake the minute I saw it! It's from Vanilla Bake Shop in Santa Monica.

The Real Thing:

Since our wedding was in Northern California and using VBS wasn't practical, we asked our incredibly skilled baker Fleur de Lisa to make us a cake similar to the VBS one. We're used marzipan instead of fondant for yumminess, and real flowers instead of the sugar one. Inside it was chocolate, chocolate, chocolate!
