The City Hall Ceremony

The Inspiration:



We decided early on that a traditional ceremony was not a priority for either of us - and that, in fact, we wanted to be married privately, so that we could focus on each other and the solemnity of the moment. Getting married someplace beautiful was also important. Once we starting seeing photos like these of SF City Hall, we knew it was the right place for us.

The Real Thing:

We had our City Hall ceremony on Friday afternoon with just our parents and photographer in attendance. It was unconventional, perhaps, but it was incredibly beautiful and moving - exactly what we wanted. The building was even more gorgeous in person - it's a spectacular place to get married!
