That cake is INCREDIBLE - I'm in love with that idea (too bad it won't work for me, or I'd totally borrow it)! One question, though - where did you get the topper figurine (the bride and groom one, not the birds)? It's very different! If it's not too much trouble, would you mind PM'ing me the info? |

I don't think the system let me send you a message GatorBride. I purchased the bride and groom from a Mexican artisan shop in the Olvera St. area of Los Angeles. I think it ran me a minimal $30. I to loved it from first sight. I display it in my home proudly and it is not as pretentious as other figurines might be. |

Thanks guys.. The cake stand is made out of dried grape root and manzanita branches with lots of moss hot glue and nails. A couple of accent butterflies and one strand of crystals and nothing more. If I would of had time I would of dressed it up more or done candles and hanging votives. that would of been awesome. But I ran out of time and steam. |
