I do!

Last year in March we planned a weekend get away to Chicago. We were so excited because our lives get so busy and we wanted some "us" time.  While we were there he wanted to go look into some jewelry stores for a Movado watch.  There was a ring that caught his eye and he told me to try it on.  We had discussed getting married, but I thought nothing of it because we had looked at rings when we went to Florida for my birthday.  The sales lady kept asking if I liked it and I said it is not up to me, it is up to him.  He said baby, please look at the ring. The sparkle from the marquise diamond hit my eye and I fell in love.  He handed the lady his credit card and I screamed, "Oh My God!!!! Are you really getting the ring?????" Here is the kicker. . .although he got my ring in March, he didn't officially propose until Christmas.  He left the ring at his mom's for safekeeping.  He said he wanted to make sure everyone from the family witnessed him getting down on bended knee to propose.  Although I knew it was coming, I cried like a baby because I wasn't expecting the words he spoke.  That's my baby!
