My mom passed away Wednesday, April 27, 2011. She knew she was dying for a whole year and she never told me. . . I guess she didn't want me to be sad while I was planning my wedding. The last time I saw her at home, she was looking at a picture of me in my wedding dress and telling me how she was going to strut down the aisle with her cane! That would have been a sight to behold! Although she won't be there in physical form, she will be right by my side in spirit.
In memory and honor of my mother, I will have a bundles of roses walked down the aisle and placed in the seat where she would have been seated. I will also have a picture of her adorning the handle of my bouquet. She will be with me the entire ceremony
REST IN PARADISE FOREVER MOMMY!
I WILL SEE YOU AGAIN!!!!!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I will keep you in my prayers and your mom will still be strutting down that aisle. Remember that Jesus wept for the living for the dead in Christ are with Him. |

My mother is gone also, it is a year and I can remember it like it was yesterday. Now we have our own personal angel watching over us. |

Awww! Thanks Kristen. During the day of the rehearsal, I decided that I couldn't handle anyone walking down the aisle with the roses. Her death was too fresh and raw in my mind. I also was supposed to have a picture of her on my bouquet, but I couldn't handle that either. Instead I had a brooch that she loved that had blue it in put on my bouquet. I rubbed it lovingly and it made me smile! |
