After six years of being together and now happily married, I am proud to say we are still dating! Four years ago I created Date Night Wednesday. It can be something as simple as preparing dinner together while cuddling up afterwards to something elaborate like dressing to the nine's and going to a five star restaurant. I love when we surprise one another with roses on our date night since roses are an integral part of our love story! I love leaving a single rose in his car on the seat for him to find Wednesday morning on his way to work or I come home and there are roses waiting for me on the kitchen table. We have made cards for one another, had a picnic in our den or met one another at the movies and pretended like we didn't know one another! We enjoy going to Chili's and afterwards just sitting there talking & giggling or having movie night cuddled up on the couch. We dance in the market when we hear our song and reach for one another's hand even when we are driving!
Never lose that spark, never lose that romance. . .

Thank you Sam, Becca and Lorna! We look forward to every Wednesday and we never schedule appointments or make other plans on our date night because we love it so much! I would love if each one of you ladies did this! |

That is so awesome, Tressy. I seriously LOVE this idea and will always LOVE this idea.
I think its a great way to stay connected to your hubby and be able to have those date nights! We used to have movie night every monday night, well eventuallly it died down and we stopped, but last night was the first night (In a long time) that we decided to do a movie night and it was awesome, I missed just laying around and having a movie night with hubby so we are going to start Monday Movie night back up! I am so excited and can't wait for next monday already! HAHAHAHAH!
