Advice for Brides-to-be: These pictures are the first glimpse of the two of you as a couple. You'll most likely use these pictures throughout your wedding with Save-the-dates, invitations, photo guestbook, cardbox...etc. Take them seriously, but have a lot of fun! Your photographer will have recommendations as to what you should and shouldn't wear in terms of color, so take their advice. But most of all...enjoy yourselves! You're in-love...show it off!
Getting our engagement pictures taken was the first step towards planning our wedding. It was the first time I got the "this is really happening" feeling. A friend of a friend is an upcoming photographer who wanted to expand her portfolio into engagement pictures...she offered to shoot us for only $50 and we couldn't pass it up! She took over 200 pictures, but here are a few of our favorites. We used all of them to make a 12x12 guestbook. We're biased in saying we think they turned out great!
