Marky was first love... So cliche, yet so for me. We spent 9 years apart and I thought of him often through the years. But, I was miles away, working a dream job and starting a life- in a different state. I actually remember saying to my best friend "Wow, I really wish there was a way to run into Mark. I just want to see how he turned out." Then, it happened out of the blue.
I was back visiting in NY and ran into a mutual friend, who gave me Mark's e-mail.
Two years later, I am living back in NY, with a different dream job, and this time with my dream man.
I am so very excited about our venue. I searched high and low in the NY/NJ area for a theatre with beauty, and some great history. Some would not allow weddings, others had no air conditioning and some were just in horrible shape. Then I found the Capitol Theater. No only is it stunning, but the likes of James Brown, the Grateful Dead and Janis Joplin have performed there.
We are going to get married on stage, with our guests in the balcony seats. We won't be going crazy with decor like in the last pic, instead we are leaving the beauty and the history of the theatre...
