I'm a mom to the most beautiful 12 year old girl and engaged to the most wonderful and sweetest man in the world!  I am a crafty Do It Yourselfer and love all things craft.  I scrapbook, research my family history, and can even carry a tune a little. 

I met my fiance off of Match.com.  He was actually lucky that I decided to respond as I was planning on ending my subscription.  We had our first date and it was awesome!!  We have been together ever since!  He not only gets along with my daughter well, but she now adores him and she is just as excited for our wedding as we are!

He loves Nascar (Jr. 88), Baseball (Dodgers), basketball (Lakers), and golfing!  I love all of the same sports except for Golf.  I'm just not THAT into it as he is.  :-)

Here is the Tux my FI will be wearing.   He will have the ivory tie and vest, and the groomsmen will be wearing all brown.  (I have pics of my FI trying on his tux and will post it when I get home.  Its on my home computer.)

This is my daughter (Jr. MOH) in her dress.  The jacket will be the same truffle color as the dress.

My bridesmaid will be wearing this dress in the same Truffle color as my daughter's.

My MOH has yet to get her dress.  I told the girls that they could pick what ever style of dress they wanted but it must be the truffle brown color.  I'm hoping she gets it soon.

8/27/10 Edit:  She got it!!!  Here is the dress she got.  It will be in the matching Truffle color as the other girls.  She is going to look fantabulous in it!!

For our theme, we wanted to use nature, becuase we both love being outdoors.

Here are other some ideas that we will be using.

I love the above sweethearts table.

We are doing the submerged flower, but instead of a flower it will be an ivy and the florist is doing a ring of flowers around the base.  The rocks may or maynot been seen.  We are not sure yet.

We will have cupcakes with a top tier that we will cut into.  However, we are not saving the top teir.  the top tier will also have a scroll design that will have a heart in it.

Our guest book table will have family photos like the picture above, but because both of our parents are divorced, we will not be using wedding photos.  Instead, we are just putting up pictures of our family, those who are present and those who have past and we are including extended family members as well.  The table will have as the main frame (elevated a little) that has 3 photos in it with the words FAMILY on top. 

We will purchase these types of fans just in case it is a hot day.  Don't want any of our guests to melt!

My programs inspiration.  I love the color combo and how pretty they look!

This is the inspiration for our CD favors/placecards and the holders.  I'm DIY'ing the holders but will be using the same Bronze/Chocolate brown cardstock for the outside and include mats of Cream and pattern paper that is ivory with a chocolate brown pattern on it.  I will also use a chocolate brown ribbon to tie it and print the placecard info on cream paper.

For our table numbers, my FI came up with this idea. He gave me a list of his favorite nascar drivers (he is a big Nascar fan) and I will be creating a table number card that will have a picture of the driver, but also the car number and if possible the car as well.  These will be printed on cream cardstock and backed by the same metallic bronze cardstock used for the invitations.  The size should be no bigger than 5x7.  As soon as I get those done, I will post pictures.  For now, here is my inspiration.
