Iam a terribly shy and private kind of girl so some of my pages have been kept private. BUT if you'd like to be friends and you are active on PW then I am happy to add you so you can see everything!

Now that the big day has passed, I have TONS of things for sale. Some of it is brand new and never used. Some of it was gently loved for our big day. Hopefully it will be of use to you and you can take it out of my tiny little house! I am having trouble getting my camera to work right so in the meantime most of these are stock photos but everything is as represented!

BEAUTIFUL HauteBride Earrings - style EC701. Brand new, never worn. Decided to wear diamond studs with the necklace from the same collection instead. Retails at $190 plus tax and shipping. Asking $130 plus shipping.  Still have, not selling at the moment.

Jars from my candy buffet - WNY area only, all 12 (6 with lids) $75:  SOLD

After much stress and drama, WE HAVE A NEW CAKE!!! I am sooo excited because this bakery is my FAVORITE in town! It's from Dessert Deli and the owner was so sweet and wonderful and helped me out on really short notice (12 days til wedding right now). We got a great deal (not $99, but still very reasonable) ESPECIALLY since the cake is super delicious PLUS we get handmade sugar flowers to go on it! When we were first out cake shopping, this place was WAAAAYYYYY out of our price range but has since added an "Easy on Your Pocket" line that made this cake possible. I am really excited! We will now have the top 2 layers as chocolate with orange cream filling and the bottom layer as white cake with almond cream filling with buttercream frosting. YUM!!! I don't have a picture of it right yet, but here is the one from their site (mine is the one on the left in the back but the flowers will be mango orange, red, and yellow to match my bouquet):

I can't wait to show this at my wedding! I think the flowers will just be on the bottom and middle tiers so we can use the cake topper my mom got us from Belleek Irish Porcelain Cake Topper:

I didn't realize I never posted this to the bio so I wanted to add it now. Here's a look at our menu:

Hors d'oeuvres - Shrimp cocktail, spanikopita, mini sausage & cheddar turnovers, crab cakes, chicken saté, smoked salmon, tomato basil & mozzarella, stuffed tenderloin, cheese & fruit, and veggies. The shrimp cocktail, cheese & fruit and veggies were set up on tables; the rest were butler-passed to our guests.

Dinner - Italian wedding soup, romaine salad with mandarin oranges, combo plated filet mignon & chicken samuel (chicken and prosciutto in a pastry puff with white wine sauce), baked potato and carrots

Dessert - Baked Alaska Flambé served immediately after dinner followed later by eclairs, cream puffs, cookies, and our cake with coffee and tea station. Our cake was either chocolate with orange cream filling and buttercream frosting or almond white with raspberry cream filling and buttercream frosting - both unbelievably delish!

There was also a champagne toast before dinner, premium open bar 5 hours (top shelf liquor and bottled beer), and white & red wine on the tables during dinner. There was be vegetarian option (salmon with dill sauce or pasta) for the three people that fell into that category.

EDIT: Apparently the owners are divorcing and are trying to close up shop before our wedding and apparently intend to break our contract. Working on resolving this issue however it needs to be resolved so I can still have a cake. We'll see how it all plays out.

So, my venue includes as part of my package baked alaska flambé after our dinner and cake is put out with pastries later in the night. This was a source of stress for me for some time. I was going to skip it but my aunts and my BFF weren't having it. I considering renting a fake cake (which I initially was just making a joke about until I found out you can really do that). I was just about to commit to fake cake with real sheets in the back (http://www.rentthecakeofyourdreams.com/) AND THEN A MIRACLE HAPPENED!!!

Because the economy has been so bad, a nearby bakery hosted an event with a 3-tier $99 cake. No catch!! The cake serves 100, if you needed more it was in the form of a sheet cake at $1/slice. I am SOOO excited!! We got half chocolate, half vanilla with a vanilla custard filling and buttercream frosting! Just when I thought I couldn't afford anything else, I found my answer. Here's what it will look like (but with different topper):

I have been looking forever for some olive green inspiration boards and have struggled a bit. I have found these that are close to my thoughts, but I am using black not brown per fiancé request. Would love to here from people on thoughts - would REALLY love to see any boards others may find! Will be using the fall colors in the flowers and I think it's going to look gorgeous together! FINALLY!!!!!!! It took forever, but FI and I have finally settled on all our music for the wedding!!! Hopefully, YouTube cooperates and all the links work for you ladies :)

We wanted to be sure to get a good mix of music in as we are fans of a wide range of genres. We also wanted to include some traditional "wedding" music for the more traditional guests (READ: grandparents and stuffy older people lol). Don't be alarmed if you think some of these a bit too traditional - we are gonna break it down after cake is served. Additionally, we let my dad and his mom pick the songs we will do dances to since we did not allow our parents to have any other opinion whatsoever lol. So ladies here it is:

Cocktail Hour: Motown Hour

Bridal Party Intro: Run This Town - Jay Z, Rhianna, and Kanye west

http://youtu.be/yVA-xTBeHyM

Bridal and Groom Entrance: NFL on Fox Sunday Theme (yes, I am serious - we will have the BP line up and we'll smack hands and chest bump like the starting line up does - well ok, maybe no chest bumping but you get the point)

http://youtu.be/MW0QoCgxcHc

Cake Cutting Music: Ice Cream - Sarah McLachlan

http://youtu.be/RpaKL0b4hAI

Dinner Music: Rat Pack Favorites

First Dance: Come Rain or Come Shine - Bette Midler (pardon this clip from the movie, it was the only one I could find of her)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UfkUP4YCWso

Bride & Father: Walk With You - Edwin McCain

http://youtu.be/8LBUMnQgSTs

Groom & Mother: Song for my Son - Mikki Vierick

http://youtu.be/VB5HB5BPv8s

Bouquet Toss: P.Y.T. - Michael Jackson

http://youtu.be/t4auq5tlUX4

(no garter toss for this girl)

Final Song: The Wonder of You - Elvis Presley (We chose this b/c we are big Buffalo Sabres fans and it's the last song they play as people exit the building after the home games)

http://youtu.be/ulI8xWuV8ic

Songs on our Must Play List:

Otis Day - Shout!

Chubby Checker - The Twist

Young M.C. - Bust a Move

Sir Mix-A-Lot - Baby Got Back

Lady Gaga - Just Dance

Etta James - At Last

Jet - Are You Gonna Be My Girl?

Marc Cohen - True Companion (For my sister/MOH and her hubby who will celebrate their 9 yr anniversary a couple days after the weeding - this was their song)

(Check back for new additions:)
