IT HAPPENED!

This past Thursday was my 27th bday and my dad decided to take me and my sister to NYC to celebrate! I was already on cloud 9 to be away from home for a weekend filled with sight seeing and of course shopping! Everything was perfect! We stayed in the Club Quarters World Trade Center Hotel and they had a breath taking view of the construction of the Freedom Tower and World Trade Center memorial. Well Saturday night the three of us spent all day runnning around the city before making our way back to our hotel for dinner. My dad had told me and my sis to freshen up while he went downstairs to find somewhere to eat. When he returned to the room he told us that he had received three on the house tickets to have dinner at the 'View of the World Terrace". We went up to the top of the hotel and were whisked out to a beautiful dinning area outside overlooking the city. As i sat down our waiter approached me with a letter. Wasnt i surprised to turn it over and see that it was from none other than J. My sister and dad watched me as i oh sooo nervously opened up a letter from him where he poured out his heart to me and how him being there with me would really be a "dream come true". I laughed and cried as i finished the letter. At the bottom of the letter he wrapped it up by saying, "I love you with all of my heart ... you mean the world to me. P.S. - Dreams really do come true ... right here, right now." I think thats where my heart jumped out of my chest!!!! I began to laugh and cry and trying to read my sis and dads face to see if they had any idea what was going on!! They both just stared at me with Academy Award winning faces of "we have no idea whats going on." At that moment my sister looked toward the door and i turned around to see HIM coming through the doors! AHHHHH. He was no faster through the door than down on his knee asking me to marry him!!!! Easily the most beautiful night of my life! There's more but this is alreadywayyyy too long!!! So here i am! ENGAGED! YAYYYYYYYYYYYY
