Meet Tash and Chris.....
My fiance and I met through some friends at the gym. We quickly grew very close and fell in love within a few months and have been together since.
This is when we first started hanging out and the start of our relationship in the winter of 2006-2007.
Winter of 2007
Here we are at a friend's wedding Spring 2007.
This is us at a friend's wedding summer of 2008. This is us Halloween 2008 dressed as 1920's Gangsters.
Our first trip somewhere tropical. Dominican Rebuplic 2009.
We had a Hawaiian Luau party for my 23rd birthday this September. We had two reasons to party that night: My birthday and Chris proposed 3 days before that.
December 2010
Chris asked me to go for walk on the boardwalk of our local beach. I could tell he was nervous about something, he was walking with his hands in his pockets (which he never does). We sat under a gazebo overlooking the lake when he got down on own knee and asked me to marry him. OF COURSE I SAID YES which then followed with "I need to call my mom". Hahaha
This is our first photo as an engaged couple. Taken by my sister who came over to see the ring when we got home.
I love love love my ring! My camera doesn't do the ring justice.
We have two female Siberian huskies!
First: Meet Akira. She is our 1 1/2 year old Siberian Husky. She is the cutest little thing. She is affectionate but quite an attitude and is very vocal. She is very active and always needs to be stimulated.

Happy 1st Birthday
Second: Meet Sequoia. She is 5 years old. We adopted her from our local Animal Shelter. She is even more affectionate then Akira and she loves to cuddle. She is the complete opposite of Akira. She does not give attitude or talk back. She is calm and keeps to herself.

The girls together!

I am in love with how these pictures turned out! My friend Jen did them for us and she did an AMAZING job!!!
Our second set of e-pics were done with our wedding photographer. I love them!
My hairpiece and garters from bpoetic

I GOT THE SHOES!!! I also have these cute heart sole grips :)
I will be borrowing this gorgeous Haute Bride bracelet from my sweet Penpal inspiritedbeing.
I am planning on wearing my hair down.
Makeup inspiration... A smokey eye with a nude lip. I am planning on doing my own makeup for the wedding.
I love the look of the bird cage veil but decided against it since I don't like it with my dress.

Best Man: Andre

My Little Brother Nick
Tyler was Chris' friend since JK. We received the news Saturday morning Dec 19th 2009 that Tyler passed away in a car accident. Tyler and his friend were driving home intoxicated that morning when the vehicle lost control and struck a telephone pole. RIP Tyler. I know you'll be standing right beside Chris the day of the wedding!
Here is my MOH's (Jessica) dress!!! I am in love with this dress by Enzoani Love. I also love love love this color. I think it will be GORGEOUS on my sister especially with her skin tone!

Gifts!
I found these cute little boxes at Michael's to put their gifts in.

Each girl gets a compact mirror with a drawing of themselves on it. I got these made from Etsy seller SaturatedCanaryArt I love the cute leopard bath bomb. And as you can already see I got their earrings from Forever 21.

My bouquet inspiration!!! Isn't she it gorgeous!
The girls bouquet will be similar to mine only it will have more white/cream.
I love the base of this bouquet for the girls.
My flower girl will be carrying something very similar to this!
Here it is! It's much more romantic when the lights are out. We need to take more photos of the venue. I will post them as soon as I can.
UPDATE!!! I finally found a birdcage that I love!!! I got it on sale for $23.00 at Home Sense. I haven't decided if I am going to keep it to color it is now or paint it.
UPDATE!!! I am going with the birdcage. I was able to rent one but wasn't crazy about the look. I found this one on EBay for $18.00 and I can't wait till it comes in. So the birdcage NEVER came in. I had a very hard time with the seller. You can check out my post on it here

Finally my stamp is in. I can get started on my "Will You Be My Bridesmaid" cards. I bought this dark purple ink at Michaels. Thanks to kohler44 for the inspiration.
ALL DONE!!!
Bridal Hoodie
I was in Michaels today with my mom and she pointed out this sticker used to scrapbooking. It gave me an idea to try it out on my hoodie. So I purchased Aleene's Permanent Fabric Glue at Michaels. I measured where the centre was laid down some tape to make sure it was all straight and glued each letter and rhinestone individually. So glad it worked!
I decided to try and make my own flowers. I think I am going to attach them to a sash for my FG. When I was reading the posts on how to make these I noticed that someone mentioned the fabric gave off toxic fumes when melted. So we wore masks...lol There was a hilarious pic of my mom and I but she deleted it.
Just got finished up with our vow cards! I love them!!!
So happy these moss covered letters are done!

My Color
Purple: Often associated with both royalty and luxury, purple is a passionate color. Choosing purple symbolizes dignity, tolerance and value. Violet lovers tend to be unconventional and observant, with a multifaceted personality. Tolerant and witty, purple devotees are likely to achieve authoritative positions. From light lavender and lilac buffs, who tend to be charming, witty and cultured, to deep eggplant lovers, who are creative and talented, purple can be provocative or sweet.
We will be getting married at our reception hall. I love the rustic look and by adding some feminine touches it becomes outdoor chic!
This is what's going above our head table! The pictures do not do it justice. It's hanging branches with lights, crystals, birds, and flowers in it. I will not be having the bunches of flowers like the photo I attached. The palm leaves don't do anything for me. I love how the branches come all the way down to the floor. I think it will frame the head table just perfectly.
I will have a similar ceiling design as this except the chandelier. I am going to have with different size lit up rattan balls hanging from the centre (to add some outdoorsie touch). The wedding in the photo below was a little bland when it comes to the color. The headtable will have tea lights across the whole front of the table with dark purple linen.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this look! Maybe I can find an affordable way to do this! ONLY IN MY DREAMS!
Here is what I am going with.
I found a picture of what the ceiling would look like using rattan balls instead of a chandelier. They only used one but it gives you the idea.
I love this idea for table numbers
I think this is a unique way of displaying where your guests will be seated and I scored some FREE window panes!
I am loving the idea of a photobooth!
I LOVE this idea! My very talented cousin will be drawing this up for me.
