We got engaged on July 18, 2009 on our friend Chi's birthday.  (I mentioned this because it was Chi that directed me to this site!)  Our date is May 1, 2010 as we have already booked the Skyline Community Church in Oakland.  Instead of stained glass the church has floor length windows that look out on the Oakland hills. 

We are in the process of deciding on our reception venue.  It's been tricky.  We were 90% certain we had decided on our venue, but decided to check one more place and of course, I fell in love with it.  There are some important details to work out, but hopefully if all goes well I will be able to post our venue in the next week or so.
