I actually bought the plain white stand off of craigslist for $40. I had seen a picture of blue cupcakes (one of our wedding colors) online that I loved (see Inspiration Board post). I bought some damask fabric online and covered the top of the tiers with it. I then used black grossgrain ribbon around the edges. The caketopper that you can see in the photo was another project that I'll probably post later.

Really nice job covering the stand with fabric, sooo pretty. Can I ask what kind of glue worked best for the fabric. Was wondering if you used spray glue for this too. Thanks.
