We're in the Christmas spirit around here! This is absolutely my favorite time of the year and I'm so happy that we live close to New York City. It's amazing! Recently, my husband and I decided along with his sister and her fiance, that we're going to build a vacation home on the island of Greece that my husband's family is from. I am super excited and gathering up a ton ideas with my sister in law.

Well, we survived Hurricane Sandy! Thankfully, our home has no damage but the area around us is devastated. I'm spending a lot of time volunteering in Staten Island which is a total disaster. On a brighter note, our house is coming together quite nicely! I'm starting to decorate for Christmas. Let's just say that I will probably bankrupt myself at Home Goods this month. :)

My beautiful sister in law celebrated her engagement at an amazing restaurant in New York City! The party was fabulous and I am so happy for her. :)

We just got back from our honeymoon and I am so excited to throw myself into decorating our beautiful home. I quit my job before we got married and I am happy to say that I still don't regret that decision. :) Right now, I'm trying to decide what I want to do with myself. Part of me is quite scared. I put so much hard work and determination into being a lawyer, so before I totally give up, I'm going to look into working for some small family owned firms as opposed to the huge corporate firm I was working for. 

I am beyond obsessed with our house! Luckily, the previous owners kept everything in immaculate shape from the exterior, to the landscaping, to the interior. All I want to do is change a few paint colors and then make it our "own". The backyard is stunning- gorgeous patio and pool. I cannot wait to take full advantage of it over the summer.
