Well, we met in college actually. We were both into journalism/communications at MSU and he decided to get enough courage to ask me out on a date! The first date we had was super fun, and when I told my mom about it, she said "Do you think he could be the one?" I do now! We are so in love with each other, and it came so easily. We both think that that's what love should feel like! I'm really excited to be here on PW and begin the process of planning my wedding!

This the beautiful ring he got me! And I didn't even help pick it out! It is Princess Cut 14K white gold ring with LOTS of diamonds! The bottom part is actually the wedding ring, it came as a set! I love it!

This is my color inspiration:

I love red and white together, and roses are my FAVORITE flowers EVER! I'm still trying to decide on a third color though. I don't want it to be boring with all the same colors.

And the third color is...AQUA!

I don't know why, but I think it's a very good combo. It doesn't really seem like it would be. Look at my Inspiration Board stuff for more. :)

**UPDATE: I''ve actually decided to add a cute lil pink color, like the one in the middle, to my color scheme. If you look at some of my cake/bouquet inspirations there is a pink like this one added in.

This is a Mori Lee gown...I think it's absolutely stunning! If I decide to buy it, it will be in diamond white. I can't wait to try it on!

I just finished this today! I think it turned out great! It was DIY and I feel so proud...

I even added that cool black frame on my computer!! Haha...

There will also be clear votives and candles and possibly little square, thin vases with like 4 roses that I just haven't bought yet. Something like these:

So...my DIY pomanders came out great! I'm putting them on the sides of the chairs at my ceremony. FI loves them and even helped out a little with the process! I'm feeling super proud of myself!

This is the veil I'm going to wear. Since my dress doesn't have a long train, I decided to have a long veil to "make up for it"

It has BEAUTIFUL lace edging...I love it so much! I'm really excited to wear it!

These are the toasting flutes that me and my sister made. They are hand painted with rhinestones and beaded wire on the bottom. I love how they turned out!

This is my FI's ring...we're both really excited about it!!! It's a 14k white gold ring with diamonds all around it. We got it on www.ice.com. My sister got her husband's wedding band there and her experience was good, so I'm really excited! Here's a pic:
