My name is Rashida and I have been a little familiar with a lot of wedding websites and after all I am very comfortable with PW and NYCity Weddings.com.  Currently I am a SAHM to my lil girl who will be one in 4 mths. My fiancée and I used to work at the same place in a very popular clothing store before we started dating.  I then started to further my career and moved on with a different company. Once this happened our friendship got stronger. we actually became friends before lovers ;-). We kept in contact and went on a few dates and hung out a lot. Once we started to hang out all the time and always ended at the movies it was then we realized that we both had a passion for movies. =D We became movie buddies.

We were both originally born in the West Indies, but I was raised in Bronx, NY and he was raised in Brooklyn, NY. We have recently moved to NJ, but NY is where our hearts are. We both just can't stay away from NY so we decided to celebrate our nuptials  in NYC are.

We had originally planned to get married on October 16, 2010 however since we love to be different we decided to move it up to August 9, 2010 (8-9-10). Who could ever forget that date? We have picked this day for a few reasons one is because of the number sequence, second the numbers added together makes 27 and 2/7 is our first date and last but not least our wedding will be a movie premier themed wedding. Since everything held in NYC is always exclusive and held on exclusive nights we thought a Monday wedding would fit our theme and personalities perfectly.
