Hi Brides! Just getting started with our bio here, so hello and happy planning :-)
Tom and I met Christmas eve of 2007 and have been blissfully inseparable ever since. We truly are best friends and love spending time together. He proposed September of '08 and our wedding will be July 2010.
We're hosting our wedding by a lake in Georgetown, Colorado at an event venue that also has an indoor greenhouse style reception dining room. Our colors are the deep greens and blues of Tom's family Scottish tartan and he's wearing a kilt! We're actually proud mutts of Scottish, Polish, Irish, English and German.
We have the theme, venue, his kilt, my gown (champagne) and a bit more figured out, but so much more to do! Still working on centerpieces, cake, flowers, favors, photographer, etc. We're definitely using peacock feathers to accent the blues/greens and I'm enjoying the ideas from your blogs and inspiration boards. Might add some photos of my own sometime.
If any of you would like to share ideas for Scottish, Irish, Celtic weddings that would be great. I've done a done of searching and narrowing it all down.
