Hey everyone,

I'm Lauren and my fiance is Eric!  We met because of my sister; he graduated a year before her at our high school, I was a freshmen when they knew eachother.  A few years later she called me up one night telling me about Eric...of course I wasn't interested in hearing about a guy while I was sleeping but I let her talk not knowing that this was going to the man I was going to marry :).  After she was done talking about Eric and saying that he thought I was cute she gave him my number and I got his.  We hit it off in an instant and I couldn't be happier.  Eric is stationed in California so its a long distance but we've made it through lots of phone calls, texts, skyping and of course a ton of visits!  I can't wait to walk up that aisle and marry my dream man! We've decided on saying our I Do's on January 20, 2012. 

Dating since: 9/20/2009

Engaged since: 2/13/2010

Married since: 1/2/2011 (small wedding, immediate family only)

Reaffirmation date: 1/20/2012 (big wedding, friends and family)

Eric will be wearing his dress blues and I'm hoping everything will look good.  Ice blue is going to be our primary color and red will be kind of like the accent color.  Like the table clothes, maybe flowers and white is going to be involved too. 

DIY:

I'm planning on doing some DIY projects but still deciding on what :) I know invitations will probably be DIY.

Okay, so my mom thinks I should be wearing white shoes because I'm the bride but I love color soo I'm thinking of color shoes!!!! It's not really a huge deal if I do end up having white shoes though sooo no worries :)
