My DH and I eloped in August of 2002. We have been married 7 yrs and have a beauiful 6 yr old daughter. This vow renewal has been a long time coming. We have dealt with numerous postponements due to health issues and life in general. We are a busy family.

Finally, our day is coming. It's been a long road. We have had 7 postponements over the past 2 yrs. Yes, I said 7. Life just always seems to get in the way. I have planned this wedding vow renewal to the very last tiny detail all by myself. I am sure when the day approaches, all of my hard work will have paid off.

My wedding dress is by Alvina Valenta. Style number AV9658. It is from the Fall 2006 collection. The color is called Creme. I love it. I cannot wait to FINALLY wear it. It has been hanging in my closet for way too long...lol

I am going for a 1940's Old Hollywood Glam Look.

DH and I are doing a couture photo shoot the day of our vow renewal. Since it will be a couture shoot, I have been thinking of wearing a black birdcage veil to spice things up. This is the style I am leaning towards.

My bouquet inspiration. I am allergic to most flowers, so they will be high quality silk Peonies.

My DH will wear a black suit with a Creme colored tie.

Our daughter will be our Flower Girl. She loves dressing up in pretty dresses, so I know she will have a blast.

     The theme of our Vow renewal is Old Hollywood Glam with a Modern twist. I just adore it.

The ceremony,reception and photo shoot will be at the Viceroy hotel.  The ceremony will be held in their private library.

I purchased and created this tablescape below on my dining room table at home. I purchased all the items from various stores. Z Gallerie(my ultimate fav store), Anthropologie, Bed, Bath and Beyond and Save-On-Crafts.com. I am SO pleased how it turned out. Lots of bling with feather touches.

I loved creating these. They were a real labor of love, but they turned out amazing. I could not be happier.

My D.I.Y Menu Cards:

My DH and I decided to make our vow renewal a little bit more special. We decided to read love poems to each other that we have selected. We will also have a candle lighting ceremony. The candle lighting ceremony will include our young daughter. It will be a symbol of our family unity. I also created and framed signs that will be displayed during our ceremony. The wording represents our family and the love we have for each other.

We were going to have our reception here, but we found a better place. NOW we will just have our Bridal Photo shoot here at the Viceroy Hotel. I can't wait!!!!!!! I know our photog will get some amazing shots of us here.
