In the February issue of Reader's Digest, the magazine asked its readers to sum up the meaning of love (or their romantic life) in 6 words.
Reader's responded with some of the following:
In hindsight, I'd still choose
you.
Love: eight pounds and six ounces.
What do you want for dinner?
Hired me. Fired me. Married me.
Moved in. No ring. Moved out.
I searched him on google. Nothing.
Love means lying about my weight.
He told me he was
single.
He emailed again, and I deleted.
What once were two, are one.
I am a 7th grade Language Arts teacher. I got engaged January 31 of this year and decided for a Valentine's assigment, just a couple weeks
later, that I would put the students' creativity to the same test! Using only six words, students created expressions, questions, and statements about what love means to them. Each student wrote their creative saying on a pink heart to be
displayed on Curriculum Night. TheFutureMrsWheat and MrWheat even completed hearts of our own ; ) I plan on creating a slideshow with this assignment. (For privacy matters, I cropped the students' faces off) Take a look!
AND LOVE TO ME IS...
My groom to be came to curriculum night and when the parents were asked to make one, he created his own... I kept it and added it to our scrapbook. He wrote "A beautiful bride waiting to be"
Awwwww, I love him!
Okay, now I want to hear from all of the brides-to-be on projectwedding! What is love? (remember, 6 words only!)
