I soon will be a Internal Medicine resident and he's a project engineer for a construction firm. We met in college at the University of Washington at a student club meeting in 2000. We became inseparable until I left for Washington DC for graduate school in 2002. A year later, I moved again. This time, I moved back home to Hawaii to attend medical school. Thousands of frequent flyer miles and millions of cell phone minutes later, we're finally getting hitched in June 2007.

Trying to make the Royal Hawaiian's vintage feel more up-to-date while keeping the theme tropical has been no easy task. I picked fuschia, mango orange, and silver as my wedding colors because 1)pink had to be incorporated (even though it's not a personal favorite) because the entire hotel is pink 2)orange added some spunk and bright happy feeling and 3)silver kept the scheme elegant and wedding-like.
We're getting married at St. Joseph's Church in Waipahu. This is where my parents got married, I was baptized, and received my first holy communion. Almost all of my family events happen at this church. Ironically, my fiance's church in Ferndale, WA goes by the same name.
Our party will be at the Royal Hawaiian Monarch Ballroom.

By the talented Dorys Foltin. I wish I took a before picture!
