Hello!
After almost 10 years of dating/ living together we decided that nearing our 30's we were ready to get this thing going and start a family. We've been planning our wedding for the past 9 months and cannot wait until our big day and to begin our life together as (technically!) one.
My wedding is taking place April 3rd 2009 in Dana Point, CA.

This is my inspiration for our centerpieces. We have the iron holders and candles. Our flowers will be similar but in tonal greens and yellows and white.
My Color Palette is tonal shades of Green/ Yellow and Black and White.
This is our Ring Bowl. I didn't see the purpose of a pillow so our ring bearer will carry this down the aisle instead. It reads "But in the Heart Where the Fires Burn Forever".
Personalized Napkins and Matches... really just simple ways to personalize at a very low cost.
I'm not much of a fan of cakes, but I adore sweets. Especially Sprinkles. We're doing the Vanilla/ Vanilla; Lemon Coconut and my favorite (!!!) Red Velvet. We also have a carpenter building a special tower for the cupcakes which will be I believe 5 tiers tall in order to hold over 100 cupcakes. The top tier will be a basic 8" round of German Chocolate and covered in egg shell butter cream with black damask print screen print. Tiers will be decorated with coordinating fresh flowers.
We're asking guests to share their photos with is through Flickr!
Bad Pictures! These are our toasting flutes and cake serving set. Purchased both on The Wedding Channel Store.
My Cardbox that I made. It's an oval box from Michael's. I covered in a textured paper I found at Hallmark and then adorned with coordinating ribbon and lined with Martha Stewart wrapping paper on the inside. The top slot was cut with my Dremel.
Bubbles for the recessional. The tags read "Blow Wishes to the new Mr. & Mrs.!!"

These are our place cards. They are the Brides by Gartner Studios.
These will be at the table for each of our child attendants and have the frame place card attached with their names. Each child also has a bag filled with coloring books, stickers, and small toys.
The wish book. Made on a Mac and purchased through iPhoto/ Apple. My experience was fabulous! The book is great quality. The front over is a sleeve, the book is black, and the front cover text is also printed on the front of the actual book.
Table number frames. I purchased these from Michael's, and they were white and gold. Used a glossy black spray paint. No primer or sanding.
This is our menu for the reception. I purchased the Brides (Gartner) invite sets from Michael's and printed myself.
Bad photos of my dress after I picked it up. I had an issue with picking out dresses. Hopefully I won't decide I hate this one too.
My Nina shoes.
My bracelet and earrings. Both were made by the wonderful Etsy seller Noaki.
I need to purchase a hair piece to fill this style up a bit. I have practically no hair. In this run my har had to be teased. Which is why it looks fuzzy :(
My hair clip from Lulusplendor on Etsy.
My bridal clutch!
A little something for my New and Blue. My Borrowed is a cameo ring of my Mother's. My Old is my jewelry since their all re-worked vintage pieces.
A hat box my Mother's friend made for me. I will use it to hold all of my day of accessories. It's gorgeous!
My engagement ring and wedding band.
My cutie pie sister. In her dress to the right. J Crew Cotton Cady Lydia
My MOH in her dress. J Crew Whitney Silk Faille Dress.
More girls to come...
Bridesmaid Jewelry and Accessories
Included in each box is a VOLUSPA candle to match each girls personality, bath fizzers, green flower hair pin and their fresh water pearl jewelry set.
I will present each girl with her present as well as a cashmere pashmina during the rehearsal dinner.
My FG and her dress. The dress is an US Angels that I found on eBay for a steal! Her shoes are L'Amour from Forgetmenotkids.com.
My RB.
Our invites were a definite DIY. Card stock and reply cards from Martha Stewart Crafts. Pocketfolds are from Envelopments in Green Tea. Custom monogram backed on black cardstock.
This is my Directions/ Map Card Insert
The only inserts I included were a photo of us, the map/ directions and the reply card. Everything else was included on our wedding website we created.
I am also using address wraps for the exterior. Using a slightly glimmering paper that matches the trim of the cardstock.
This is the image used for the custom stamp.
Goodie bags for hotel rooms. I have a mix of snacks to fill them up with.
The water bottles for the hotel rooms.
Hello! I have a little under 2 months to go until the big day! Yay! I'm not trying to lose 20 pounds or anything crazy just want to look my best possible. For the last 4 months I have been practicing yoga and pilates strictly. In the last month I decided to actually join a gym, because I REALLY need the cardio. I'm a class taking kind of girl so I do spin class 3 times a week, trampoline 2 times a week, yoga only once a week now, strength train 3 times a week, and I have 2 days off. Most days I double up workouts. It's been hard spending so much time on myself when there are so many wedding things to be taken care of. With all the stress though it's much needed.
My Goals!
Currently: 138lbs
I hope to lose somewhere around 10lbs by April 3. I have lost 7lbs so far since January 12th.
I find inspiration in reading Oxygen magazine, my workout buddy and every time I am spinning on that darn bike until I feel like I want to puke I think about how I want to look amazing in my dress for all those photos.
I'll post food choices soon!
*UPDATE! 3/5/09*
So, I've been hitting the gym REAL hard over the past month and a half. I have lost 10 pounds! As long as the scale at the gym is accurate! My clothes fit completely different and some of my bottoms can slide right off. I want to tone more but this is awesome!
Currently 128lbs :)

I had a fabulous time at my shower. Thanks to my mother for creating multiple paper flower arrangements and my rehearsal bouquet. She worked tirelessly and everyone especially myself was very appreciative. Good food, good company and a beautiful sunny day on the water. It was lovely.
As you can see the green/ yellow/ black and white was carried heavily through the shower as well!
We went down to San Diego to the Gaslamp. Stayed at the Hard Rock and had a fabulous time! PG pics!
