My fiance and I met in College my freshman year and have been together ever since, our favorite saying is '9 in '09', although I never thought it would take 9 years to get engaged, but it was worth the wait!
How we got engaged. Punta Cana, DR here we come, It was vacation time for Dave and I and we were looking forward to a week on the beach, with the sand, ocean, and amazing weather. Little did I know Dave was planning the biggest and most amazing night of our lives! After a wonderful day relaxing at the pool, Dave and I got dressed up for a nice dinner and took a trolley to the restaurant. Before dinner we took a romantic walk on the beach, where Dave gave me the best surprise ever and proposed! I was so happy and surprised. It was the best night of my life! The amazing night did not end there, Dave still had more surprises for me up his sleeve. Earlier in the day, He arranged for our room transformation. After dinner we walked back to our room and opened the door to the most romantic sight ever! The lights were dim, the music was on, and there were rose petals everywhere. The Jacuzzi tub was filled with bubble bath, rose petals, and was surrounded by candles. There were towels in the shape of Swan's on the bed kissing. But best of all written in rose petals on the bed was "MARRY ME" Everything was so perfect, David truly made this night the best in our lives and it was a night we will never forget!!!! July 28, 2009
And the surprises didn't end there......
After an amazing week on vacation and lots of alone time to celebrate our engagement, David and I came home so excited to share this special time in our lives with our families. SURPRISE!! Both of our families got together and surprised me with a wonderful lunch to celebrate our engagement. It was a wonderful surprise and the perfect end to an amazing week!! August 2, 2009

WHOOOOO!!!! My Wedding shoes just came in!!! I LOVE THEM!!!!
My mom and I had our Make- Up Trials. I am pretty happy with the outcome, I dont like a lipstick at all, but everyone keeps saying you need to wear something, so this was our test. I like everything BUT my lips, lol, and i want to have liner on the bottom. My Fiance doesn't like make-up on me at all and he still thought it was too much, but I don't want to look washed out in the photos. I don't know....... (and i think its too much blush)...But i think my Mom looks AMAZING!

We are having a table at the wedding with photos of our parents and grandparents wedding pictures and we are going to also put one of these pictures of Zoe and Jake ~ Just Adorable!
YEAH!!!! We got our cake topper. My Fiance's mom ordered it for us after I showed her the pic, SO SWEET!
