Chris and I met and began dating in March 2010. I knew at the end of our first date that he was the one! We went BUNGEE JUMPING!!  We decided in September that we wanted to get married, we just had to wait for him to graduate before we could actually get engaged. So we have been gathering ideas since then. 

In November i started having dreams (more like nightmares) that he was proposing with a tacky "engagement necklace". I made the mistake of telling Chris, and he decided he wanted to (in his words) "make my dream come true". 

Well...Jan 16, he actually did it!! He took the necklace and put it in a ring box. And proposed with it. I was laughing and a little upset. But it was funny! My mom and sisters were there, and took a picture of the necklace. and in it he is sitting behind me with my RING!! I was totally oblivious. I walked out of the room slightly disappointed, and walked back into the room ready with a few choice words for him, when I realized what he had in his hands. I walked over and ask him what he was doing. I was so shocked and relieved. LOL!! The ring was exactly a ring we had picked out a few weeks before that he had told me there was no way we could get. The best part about this whole proposal was that I am a very "always have my make up on, hair done, 4-inch pumps are my comfortable shoes" kind of girl...he proposed in the MORNING! No make-up, I was still in my pjs!! 

I am so excited to get to marry my best friend, and man of my dreams!
