Kyle and I have been dating for over 7 years and met while working together. We started dating about a year after that, which would have been sooner if it were up to me ;O)
He proposed to me on Christmas 2007 in front of
both of our entire families. Everyone was in on it except for me and my grandmother.
I just graduated with my B.A. in Criminal Justice this spring and currently work as a sign language interpreter for a school district, the county and now
also work as a server for that extra cash weddings require. Kyle is an apprentice for an electrical company.
We are planning a fun, romantic wedding on a winery, surrounded with friends and family. We are incorporating a
little vintage glam, natural elements and classic touches. I envision tons of candles and warmth in the room.
We are not traditional by any means, for example, we won't be doing a garter/bouquet toss, recieving line, and most
of the other traditions people do and don't know why, and both our parents are going to be walking us down the aisle.
The Groom...

So my internet was down so all I could think of doing was making more inspiration boards. I really love this second one, the warmth and feel of the colors.

We are going with espresso, latte, dusty rose, and cream. Think Neapolitan Ice Cream.
Tiramisu....Can this be the Bride's cake? We can have a white cake for everyone else :O)
Inside the Estate Room

I love this dress!
I love how it has the look of both an empire and dropped waist.

I just ordered these shoes by Liz Rene, but I am thinking I will dye them a shade of pink. I hope they will be comfortable enough to wear at least through part of the reception, they are a 3 3/4 inch heel.
My ring is actually a princess cut, but here is a picture of it with a round. I will have a wedding band above the engagement ring and one below it, stacked, so the center stone is in fact in the center.
Bill Levkoff dress in style 966. Here is the dress except it will be in taupe and include a brown sash.
European Satin strapless gown. Wide sash ties in the back forming long tails. Ball gown skirt with crinoline for extra fullness and a slight back train. Includes shawl matching dress color.
Us Angels Style 702, with a sash in pink and the dress in ivory. I think the girls will look great in these dresses.
They will carry pink pomanders.

We used pictures of us as kids, him on one side, and a corresponding picture of me on the other.
We are going to have some tables set up for the few kids that are coming to the wedding with their own candy centerpieces and crayons to keep them occupied. This lollipop ball actually sat up on a jar full of skittles.
For our escort cards we are going to do the whole wine cork thing. Sorry I tried rotating the picture.
Candy Station
I don't want to spend the time to tie ribbons or place stickers or box things up for our favors...I don't have the time (cuz I am always on here!) So we are going to use chinese take-out boxes and have people scoop some candy for themselves on their way home. We have bought several jars from Target and the thrift store and a few apothecary jars from Costco. I got my scoops, ladles, and tongs for the tallest jars.

Actuality
When borrowing a friends card box fell through this idea occurred to me on my commute home. And my creative fiance' put it together. We used wine corks and cut them in half, lengthwise and glued them to a cardboard box and grouted it.

So happy you're here to share in our day!
But should something
happen to go astray,
Please help yourself to the contents within,
Wet wipe, hand lotion, and even aspirin,
If your skin feels dry, your hair out of place,
Your hose have run, or whatever the case.
Use only what you need and leave the rest,
It may also be useful
to another guest,
We've put this together to help you along,
Now get yourself out there before the next song!
Compliments of the
newlyweds!
We were planning a honeymoon in Playa de Carmen, Mexico but after several expensive bills later we opted for a trip to Napa, and loved it.
Flasks for some of the drinkers, and flips for all the girls to wear at the reception, with a poem attached. All the goodies will be put into a tote bag my mom made and embrodiered their names onto the front of. All the girls got Nicole Miller robes in pink with their initials embrodiered on the front, a hankerchief with their names and title in the wedding party, also made by my mom, and a necklace made by my aunt.

Flip Flop Poem:
Soon at the altar Kyle and I will meet
For standing up beside me, you are very sweet
So if you bought new shoes to match your dress
Your feet will surely feel a mess
But don't sit down and admit defeat
Kick off your heels and enjoy this treat!
~Jessica
The guys all got Relic watches with their monogram engraved and our names and wedding date on the back. They also got handkerchiefs.

I got my parents tickets to see STOMP.
The flowergirls recieved a book bag with their names on it filled with coloring books, a silver jewelry box with a beaded bracelet with their initial on it.

The pageboys got mini baseball bats and cameras.

Blessing of the Hands (read by Arnie)
Jessica and Kyle please face each other and, present your hands palms up, so that your partner may see the gifts you are offering to each other.
• These are the hands of your best friend, young and strong and full of love for you.
• These are the hands that are holding yours on your wedding day as you promise to love each other today, tomorrow, and forever.
•These are the hands that will work along side yours as together you build your future, as you laugh and cry, as you share your innermost secrets and dreams.
•These are the hands that will passionately love you and cherish you through the years and with the slightest touch will comfort you like no other.
•These are hands that will wipe tears from your eyes countless times, both tears of joy and tears of sorrow.
· These are the hands that will comfort you when you are sick or console you when you
are grieving.
•These are hands that will give you strength when you need it.
• And lastly, these are the hands that even when wrinkled with age, will still be reaching for yours, still giving the same unspoken tenderness with just a touch.
INTRODUCTION: (Judge)
Friends and family of Jessica Goodpasture and Kyle
Ensminger, welcome and thank you for sharing this special day. We have gathered today to celebrate the blending of two lives. As family and friends, each of
you has played some part in bringing them to this moment and in various ways will continue to support and contribute to their relationship. We solemnize this unique time in their lives and make it
meaningful by entering into it with a feeling of respect for their deep commitment to each other.
MAIN BODY: (Judge)
Jessica and Kyle, Marriage is going to give you a whole new way to share your lives together as you stand to face the world hand in hand. Marriage makes burdens lighter because you divide them. Marriage makes joys intense because you share them. And marriage makes you stronger so you can be involved with life in ways you dare not risk alone. Remember that together, you have the power to conquer all obstacles.
Happiness in marriage is not something that just happens. A good marriage must be
created. In the art of marriage the little things become big things. It is never being too old to hold hands. It is
remembering to say "I love you" daily. It is never going to bed angry. It is at no time taking the other for granted, the courtship shouldn't end with the
honeymoon, it should continue throughout the years. Look upon each other's perfections with joy, and frailties with understanding; and forgive yourself and each other those weaknesses you cannot love. Marriage is doing things for each other, not in the attitude of duty or sacrifice, but in the spirit of joy. It is having the capacity to forgive and forget. It is establishing a relationship in which independence is equal, dependence is mutual, and obligation is reciprocal. It is forming a circle that gathers the whole
family.

Old Apache Blessing (Author unknown) (Judge)
Now you will feel no rain, for each of you will be shelter to the other.
Now you will feel no cold, for each of you will be warmth to the other.
Now there is no loneliness.
You are two bodies, but there is one life before you, and one home.
As you have each other’s hands, looking at one another, you will see the road you traveled to reach this---the hour of your happiness.
It stretches behind you and the future lies ahead.
A long and winding road, whose every turn means discovery, old hopes, new laughter and shared tears.
May beauty surround you both in the journey ahead and through all the years.
May happiness be your companion and your days together be good and long upon the earth.
The adventure has just begun!
I now pronounce you husband and wife.
JESSICA, you may now kiss your groom!
NOVEMBER
Time flies when you are in love… uh huh
Just about eight years I met a girl and she blew my mind … uh huh
My feelings for her grew stronger and stronger with time… uh huh
But something took hold of me and that’s when I started to see
That I love her…yes I love her…I love her
The years pass so fast we became best friends and I knew it would
Last… uh huh
Could talk about any thing, everything all the time
I just had to ask for her hand… uh huh
But something took hold of me and that’s when I started to see
That I love her…yes I love her…I love her
So here now we stand hearts open for you all to see… uh huh
Vowing to each other for eternity… uh huh
But now we’ve taken hold of it
We both have control of it and she loves me…yes she loves me…
She LOVE….ME
And I love her too.
I wasn't able to get together with a professional photographer before the wedding so I had to do the pics myself at home.
