It all began when I wasn't looking for anyone after moving cross the country to live with my sister and her family for a bit.  After a month and half I met John and shortly after we were inseperable.  He then followed me back to where I grew up when I couldn't handle that small northern town anymore.  He proposed after about two and a half years on New Years Eve night 2007 right after we finished desert at a nice restaurant.  It was sweet even though I hate restaurant proposals.  I was totally suprised because I thought he was gunna wait another year to do it.  And last winter we finally picked the date 12-28-09.  We are hoping and planning to have a small intimate romantic winter wedding.  Our day is on a Monday but we picked that day because when all of our family comes we can also spend christmas together, which doesn't happen very ofter b.c we all live far apart.

my new hair peice and i also picked out a necklace and earings for my wedding gift from FI

we are going with the tommy hilfiger brown tux with praline tie and pocket square whick is a spotted brown tie, thinking of switching it to a green tie though b/c the bms are also wearing dark brown.

Here is the bouquet i am going with , the girls will be holding 3 large calla lily's with some greenery, and since flowers were under budget my florist is gunna make a snowman out of carnations, with top hat and everything so i am very excited for that, we will display that at the table with our eng pics, gift box and guest signing mat or with the cupcakes, can't decide see how it looks that day.

and of-course loose weight - hopefully around 20lbs ( joined gym , only lost 2lbs in month and a half - err,  now July 23 and i am only down 6.5lbs, im getting there but just not fast enough, need to stop the random ngts of eating too much at supper) update now aug 8th and i have lost 10lbs and i have realized i am nowhere where i need to be to make the dress fit, hopefully i only have to loose 20 more lbs, omg i am starting to freak out. nowsept 16 and i am stuck at the 13-15 lb mark just keep bouncing back and forth and don't seem to be loosing anymore, starting to get really frustrated, dress now fits but i have lots of spilliage in the front and back and it is really tight so i really need to pick it up. Nov 11 and i am now down 19lbs new goal is 25lbs and i got about 3 and a half wks to loose for alteration apt.

Linens: www.tableclothsfactory.com bought brown satin chair covers and Sage green satin overlays, they are great quality and very fast shipping, only bought them b/c there is no rental places in town with brown chair cover and to have them from a close city would cost the same as buying them and this way i can sell them i'm done. for canadian brides too, the duty charge on 42lbs was only 15 dollars , unbelievably cheap.
