I have been fascinated by art for as long as I can remember.. I love finding unique ways to express myself & my creativity, and using a person's face as a canvas for my imagination is no different. I turned to makeup at a young age, taking joy in working on friends for formal events. Upon graduating high school, I immediately began working as a makeup artist while attending college as an art major at the same time. Within a few short months, I was hired for an aprenticeship with one of the most successful Los Angeles bridal makeup companies.
At the same time I was booking jobs with local, domestic, and international clients. I secured a position as key makeup artist for Capristan Swimwear's fashion show, featured on tours across the US with the automotive car show Hot Import Nights. I also worked on catalog shoots for clothing companies such as Miss Me (missme.com), and shot a makeup advice column for international company TokyoPop's fashion magazine.
Since then I have worked on countless weddings as the lead makeup artist & hair stylist, and am booked for bridal events almost every weekend of the month. With my background in art, I am able to appreciate beauty in all forms while applying my education to my craft. Whether it's a photoshoot, bridal event, or any other creative project, I take all my jobs very seriously and don't stop til I've given all my clients more than they expected (:
