We met at a friends' engagement party. What was a simple "hello" developed into something more. A couple of months later - we went to our first Oakland A's game together and after that things has just been GRRRrreat.

He planned a romantic weekend to celebrate our engagement. The day began with a day of wine-tasting over in Napa. Wineries we visited were Frog's Leap, V Sattui, Rombauer, Silver Oaks, and Domaine Chandon. He asked me to be his wife at Domaine Chandon over a nice picnic and a glass of champagne. After the engagement, we stayed in San Francisco for dinner and Sunday brunch to begin a new chapter of our lives.

FYI - Even though it was a secret. I knew it was happening because a couple weeks before this romantic weekend - someone actually came up to me and congratulated me. The only thing that was a surprised was the trip he made to see my family to ask for permission in marriage. (A guy that would go all his way to please me by asking my whole entire family (my dad and brothers) is worth asking YES to) - Don't you think?

After the proposal - we were driving from Napa to San Francisco, I actually told him about the congratulation accident that happened a couple of weeks back. I thought it was funny, but I don't think he thought the same way about it.

I consolidated my thoughts for the wedding. I've been bringing a copy of this and giving it to my vendors so they can get a better idea on how I want my wedding and put this as part of my file.
