I am planning a wedding for my daughter

My daughter got engaged April 30th 2011. She and her fiance will be having a wedding in her home town in the Bay Area next May 2012. They live in New York.

At first I was very surprised they decided to get married here since most of their friends are in the east coast. But I am happy she chose to do it here since most of her friends (and his) have never been to California. It is a chance to show her guests and her future in laws what a lovely place she is from. However, it also means plenty of work for me. That's the main reason why I am on Project Wedding reading and seeking ideas and advice from you.
