We were married on August 7th, 2009
The colors were pink and green! :-) (with a few touches of ivory)
My dress was the 5th dress I tried on and I knew right away that it was the one.
It is from Davids Bridal Style VW9469
Shoes ( colorifics tori)
The Jewelery (from Davids Bridal)
The Garter - Philadelphia Eagles Garter (From Garters by Kristi on Ebay)
The Hair Peice ( From Alfred Angelo)
Our engagement was very simple and very us. I knew it was coming soon bc I knew he bought the ring, I just wasn't sure exactlty when. One random Wednesday we took our dog for a walk in the park. I was walking ahead of him with the dog and I turned around to see what he was doing, and there he was on one knee. He asked me if he would marry me and as our dog is running wildly around us, I obviously said yes!
My ring is a beautiful 3/4 carat Tacori ring. I could not have asked for anything more perfect for me!
The band we chose for me is the matching 1/2 eternity tacori band.
We had my ring engraved with "forever yours" and his with "Faithfully" ( from our song, Faithfully by Journey)
His ring is a 14k white gold Lieberfarb ring
I chose this dress from Alfred Angelo (style 6455) in Tea Rose
I let my bridesmaids choose their own shoes, they just needed to be silver. Funnily enough, both my sister and good friend choose the same shoes.
Here they are (Touch Ups style Logan):
We used Tuxedo Junction for all our Men's needs.
We choose Tux Style Carrera
Vest and Tie style was Mystic
Groomsman wore Celery
The Hubby wore Ivory
The Fathers wore Platinum
The ring bearer also wore Celery
My Neice was our Flower Girl, she wore this adorable dress we found at JCPenny on sale one day.
The pillow is from Party City but it worked perfectly for our wedding.
I added both my maternal and paternal grandmothers wedding rings to it as my something old.
We choose our invitations from Party City. They are from the Carlson Craft collection.
Here was the sample:
And here are ours:
This is one of the things I took on as a DIY. They took Forever and didn't quite come out as I had imagined but I used them anyways and I did got several compliments on them the day of.
I used our custom monogram that was made for me by Pink Event Design
Taken by our wedding photographer Michael Ross
Here are just a few:
I made each of my girls a tank top. I bought the tanks from Walmart (approx $5/each) and the Iron ons from Bella Designs ( approx $25 for 1 bride, 3 bm and 1 fg)
I also bought each girl a necklace from Lia Sophia
and a pair of earrings
Here is a pretty good shot of one of BM's with her Jewelery on:
We got the boys these canvas travel bags, with their initials on them ($35 - from mygroomsmangifts.com):
This is the DIY that I am the most proud of. It came out really well and I got many compliments on it.
I did all the designing in Microsoft Publisher and then printed it at Kinkos and placed it in a 22 x 28 frame.
My inspiration was this picture( below) obviously I didn't do exactly the same thing.
I took a few inspiration pics to my cake baker and told her to surprise me with a combo of them. She did an outstanding job, the cake was beautiful and even more importantly it was DELICIOUS!
The flavors we choose were:
Bottom Layer - Funfetti Cake, no Filling
Middle Layer - Almond Cake with Strawberry Filling
Top Layer - Marble Cake with Chocolate Ganache Filling
Here were my inspiration pics:
and this is my actual cake:
I loved the look for I DO letters on the table, so I recreated my own. I bought the letters at hobby lobby and painted them pink and added pearl appliques. I think it added alot to the table.
Here are my inspirations:
This was my actual cake table

I made this on Picaboo using our engagement pics. I was very happy with the way it turned out.
We stayed at Excellence Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic for a week.
It was very nice and relaxing, we probably wouldn't go back but that is not b/c of the resort. We mostly just did not care for the DR.
Here are pics from Trip Advisor
Here are some of our pics
We did Cookie Favors! They were made by our Cake baker (Vanilla Swirl Cookie Company)
