My fiance, Freddy and I had some mutual friends so we would see each other when we would all hang out. Never thought anything of it, my grandfather passed away and before he died he told my cousin number 14. Now he used to bet on horses and gamble at the casino so I really didn't think much of it, except next time I went I would play roulette #14. And the weekend after he passed, I went to hang out with our friends at the casino, and Freddy and I were hanging out more than normal all night. I grabbed him to come with me to the roulette table, he gave me $20 to put on #14... and it hit. I knew my grandfather was telling me something. We started hanging out a little more and and went on our first date. I knew from the beginning that this guy was different, and I knew a month in, I wanted to marry him. We went to Vegas for New Years after dating 5 months, I swear I would have eloped! But almost 2 years later he proposed on the beach in the bahamas.. it was amazing.. The best moment of my life. To this day, I thank my grandfather for bringing him to me.
Love love love my ring.. I would like to say it's all Freddy.. however he had a few (thousand) pictures to help. I would like to do 2 small bands on either side of the ring, similar to the side stones. Still trying to convince DH of that...
We are getting married at a catholic church in CT at 1:30.. this church is beautiful inside, long aisle, marble pillars, beautiful stained glass on both sides, and amazing paintings on the ceiling... I can't wait. It will be a full mass.. so about an hour, then it's party time!
I would love to have our initials hanging on the doorway in, we'll see.
We are starting the reception at 3:30, we figured an hour for the ceremony and about 45 min from the church to the venue. This venue is beautiful.. they have beautiful chandeliers, nice big windows all along 1 side. And since we are expecting around 300 people we have the entire place to ourselves.. which is nice since they have a foyer area with an outside bar. This is your typically Italian wedding place, with amazing food.. and there is ALOT of it... We are having 1.5-2 hour cocktails then dinner and dancing... I'm so excited about the cocktail hour.. I just hope we get our pictures done in time to enjoy it.
We ordered our save the dates through Vista print. They are just standard business card magnets. We will attached them to a piece of 5X7 paper with all the information. Can't wait to get them in! The border came out a little funky on this copy.. on the magnet it stops at the black border.
I love this dress and It looked so good on everyone. And all of the girls felt comfortable. The picture does not do it justice at all!! I'm thinking some pretty rhinestone long earrings and any shoe they like.
I splurged! I had too! I'm 5 feet and def needed some height, but wanted comfort too. I couldn't resist!
