i ruined his original proposal plans, which involved a special cliff overlooking la jolla. my birthday was about a month after that, so he planned a weekend getaway. a confusing drive to throw me off, a day at the spa, a couple of massages, and a celebratory dinner later, we found ourselves engaged!
